Last night, I received that Led flashlight and I did test that along with other led flashlights in my room. Their brightness couldn't tell me which was most light. When I went outside for my four Led flashlights to be lighted in the dark, I did test and compare my flashlights on any taller trees or taller shrubs. Then I found that my Deipto flashlight had good brightness, but my Cree tactical flashlight was slightly better for it had zoom. Of course, I like my new Deipto flashlight even though it doesn't zoom.

I don't understand why sellers exaggerate the capabilities of their flashlights so much. This one is excellent for it's size and purpose. It doesn't illuminate anywhere near the advertised 500+ feet, but a light this size doesn't need to. I like it a lot, and would have given 5 stars if it were not for the false advertising.This is a small light that you can have in your pocket. When you need it, though, it does an excellent job of lighting up a large area in front of you. Perfect for walks, emergencies, etc. On high brightness, it throws useful light over a wide area for about 100 feet - maybe a little farther. Much less than advertised, but perfect for normal use and great for a light of this size and price. It has a durable metal body, and controls are easy to use (one button). It doesn't zoom, but the beam is a nice balance of coverage and throw.The current price for this light (as of 4/9/2024) is a good deal.See my pictures for a true representation of it's performance.I like this little flashlight a lot. I just wish that the description would be revised to match reality.

This isn't a perfect flashlight, but it's one heck of a bargain at $13.It's a bit too big for pants pocket carry. (3-1/16" x 1-1/8") With a prominent rubberized button/switch that adds an additional 1/16" to that 1-1/8". This button is certainly welcome when trying to activate the light in the dark.The 3 LEDs in the head are surprisingly bright. You can feel the heat when you shine this light on your skin. The sturdy, thick-gauge, aluminum body acts as an effective heat sink, and it does get warm when operating the light for more that a brief period.Modes are High, medium, low brightness, strobe, and SOS. A nice feature is that after a few seconds of being on, you can turn the light off without cycling through the modes.The head has an 0-ring seal and threads on/off to allow replacement of the standard 3.6v, 1000mAh,18350 battery. Unscrewing the head also allows for the removal of a sturdy, spring-steel, pocket clip.The bezel is also threaded and removeable, allowing for removal of the plastic lens protecting the 3 LEDs.The 18350 battery can be recharged while in the flashlight, via a USB-C port, which is covered by a rubber gasket.There is a state of charge indicator embedded in the switch. Normally blue, it turns red when it's time to recharge the battery. The only issue I can see is that the charge indicator only works when the light is on. There is no indication of charge state while charging.If it were slimmer, I would certainly consider this for an EDC light. But if it was slimmer, it couldn't fit a standard, replaceable 18350 battery, which is a great feature.As 18350's are about $9-$12 each, by using the current 20% coupon, this flashlight is basically free and you're paying only for the included battery. The available 2-pack of these lights is cheaper that some 18350 2-packs here on Amazon.I purchased two more of these. They're great lights and are too good of a deal to pass up.
