I've used several others previously; however, I never felt like I could get them cleaned. We like to use our basting brush for olive oil or sauces to evenly spread over meat or butter over certain pastry recipes; however, I never feel like I can get other brushes clean. Because this is made of silicone it was very easy to clean off! It looks well made and I think it will hold up well.
