Mazon 44-in Oil-Rubbed bronze Integrated LED Indoor Flush Mount Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Remote (3-Blade)

My office is in a part of the house that gets hot for some reason even though the rest of the house stays comfortable. I bought a cheap fan to put under my desk but quickly got tired of the loud noise. I ran across this fan on Amazon and realized it matched my office decor perfectly so I ordered it immediately. When it came in a studied the instructions and thought a mistake had been made because there would be no way it would be that easy to setup. But I retrieved a small step stool and some basic tools and had the fan up in less than an hour. It worked perfectly the first time I flicked the light switch and my office had a nice QUIET breeze flowing through it. The fan does not even wobble! It stays perfectly still. My only concern was the description said "18 watt light" but it illuminates as well as a 100 watt bulb.

Received my fan about an hour ago. Happy with the product so far, but I’m really writing to say that the instructions were very clear, and the product was designed for ease of installation. Booklet says 45 minute install and that’s exactly how long it took. Each piece is designed for easy hookup with no juggling pieces while balancing on a ladder and tightening screws , etc. There are several “layers” and each one hangs on a provided hook (or snaps in place) while you wire or before the final screws need to be tightened down. I’m not sure how they found the engineer , and instruction manual author, but I highly recommend the product just to see how those things can be done well when somebody thinks about it

Looks clean and uncluttered. Completely silent. Good light although it’s a harsh white. It’s dimmable, but for low light it’s not pretty lighting. You’re much better off with lamps that create pools of light where you need them. On bright, it’s what I call a cleaning light. Bright enough to see all the dirt when you’re dusting and vacuuming. Professional installer had no issues and installed 2 of them in less than 40 minutes including removal of old fans.My only beef is the extremely ugly color of the remote. An issue if you want to keep it in the wall cradle. I’m currently exploring model paints for one I can safely use to (carefully) paint them.

We live in a Cape Cod. Our second floor bedroom ceiling is typically low. We had a conventional ceiling fan that with twelve inches blade-to-ceiling clearance has caught a hand or four over the 11 or twelve years we owned it. This Mazon fan was purchased to alleviate this condition.I thought the difference in clearance would be minimal, but the design gives more than I expected. At seven inches blade-to-ceiling clearance (at the lowest edge), I got what we wanted. I thought the a base-to-motor eight of three inches would make the difference less significant. However the blades are mounted to slots in the collar, whereas I thought the blades would attach to the bottom of the collar. This is what makes it so much better for situations like a Cape Cod's second story ceiling. For a finished basement, this could be helpful, but I suggest a fan with a base less than the three inches base-to-motor distance.,I applaud the intelligent and much safer direction switch placement. The switch on the replaced fan was less than an inch from the blade attachment point. This one is located well below the blade mount slot. You can safely change the direction of the fan without waiting for a full stop of the blades. The little graphic on the switch helps you to remember which direction is best for which season. The graphic matches the season.The light is about the equivalent of a 75 watt incandescent bulb. I like to read, and this is optimum for reading.The remote has four buttons for the fan operation, 1,2,3,OFF. There is one button for light operation, ON/OFF. There are no pull switches, and there is no wire provided to operate the light from a wall switch as well as from the remote control. Other than direction, all is controlled from the remote, which comes with a holder that can be attached where it is convenient for you. Since it is in our bedroom, I attached it to our headboard.The only feature enhancements I suggest for the manufacturer are a more flush base if possible; providing for operation of the light from both a wall switch and the remote control; slide controls for the light and fan on the remote. However, even without these enhancements I fully recommend the product and would buy it again.

It's a premium unit that provides terrific illumination. It's exceptionally quiet.

FAN/INSTALLATION: Looks exactly as advertised. Easy to install. If you already have a ceiling electrical box, and are somewhat handy, it should only take your 15-20 min to install. The instructions were easy to follow.SOUND: Faint electrical hum, which is quiet and quickly becomes a white noise. The blades don't really make a noise until it is on the fastest speed, and it is reasonable and not distracting.LIGHT: Way better than I hoped. It lights my bedroom (12'x12') just as well, if not better, than the two (single bulb) nightstand lamps I used.REMOTE: Ugly yellow, but other than that it works great. I haven't had instance where the fan didn't respond or pick up on the signal. It comes with a wall mount rack.

These fans are relatively small, but the manufacturing standards appear to be very good. Fairly easy and straight forward installation. It is quiet and the dimmer function on the remote is nice (remote is very small). Note that even though the manual has you install the blades after the fan body is positioned, I found it easier to install them while on the ground (2nd fan installation) to avoid the upside down installation maneuver. The blades are short enough and the fan is light enough to allow for you to still hang the unit from the ceiling plate while doing the wiring. Also, due to the short blade size, I would not recommend this product for a room over 100 square feet.

This fan was the easiest fan I've ever installed. The fact that it comes with a remote makes it the best deal I've found. Works great in a small room!

beautiful, quality ceiling fan with light and remote control. Installed in not much more than 1/2 hour. the light dims easily and it has three fan speeds. It is whisper quiet and provides great air flow.

I love the look. It was easy to install. My only complaint is, it’s a bit noisy when the fan is turned up to 2 or 3 but quiet and comfortable on 1. I love the dimmer function

The look is great. Ideal wingspan for the rooms we needed them for. Installation very easy "puts together well". We bought two fans and put in rooms that are close, this creates a light show when using the remote, both fan lights respond to each remote.

Fits close to the ceiling and is very quiet. Good purchase for the money. Love the colour.
