Is it weird to be in love with a trash can?For 7 years, I've been hanging on to my old trash can. I never really enjoyed my old trash can (I found it at Walmart and it was the cheapest one available) but I just cringe at the thought of paying $100 for something that holds trash! Well my old trash can was in pretty bad shape. It wasn't really tough to begin with and after 7 years of abuse, the handle had long broken off, the bottom was coming undone, but it still technically "worked". Well a few weeks ago I took the trash out and when I came back home my trash was gone, but so was my trash can. Now I suppose it's possible that someone stole my poor little trash can but I just don't see why when my neighbors have definitely got some better options. My best guess is that my trash guys decided that my trash can needed to go.Fast forward to the now, tomorrow morning is trash day and I'm a little excited. I took the trash out tonight because I can't bring myself to wake up at 5:00 am when my trash guys get here. I personally love that the trash can is yellow. I think it really stands out and if someone does try to take it I think it would be easy to find. Wheeling my trash out was so lovely! Granted I haven't had a handle on my old trash can in years, but I'm pretty sure it didn't feel this great. The handle is so sturdy and the wheels are big and it's just so easy to maneuver.And you really can't beat the price. At Walmart and Home Depot, the trash cans comparable to this size were almost double the price.

Does the Job. I expected the material to be a bit better given the expensive price. The plastic feels a bit thin compared to other heavy duty trash cans. So far wheels haven't fallen off, hopefully they don't. Will report back in 6 months. Also would be nice if the lid clipped or snapped shut. I had to buy bungee ropes to secure lid over trash can so that rodents don't easily access the trash.

I researched a lot of pails and this one is working out great. It holds a lot and durable and the cover stays put not like those annoying snap on ones that the garbage people keep sometimes made come off and then the lid was left thrown around on the curb. This cover has a hinge. That was my main thing when looking. And very well made !

I purchased this Rubbermaid rolling trash can in January 2024. After only 8 months, the bar that the trash truck lifts the can with broke and is unusable. Now the support for the handle has cracked. After only 14 months, there is so much structural damage that I have had to replace the can. I am an older woman who does not generate much trash. The can is never loaded heavily. Being a Rubbermaid product, I had expected a much better-quality product and am truly disappointed having spent so much money on this trash can. I have never written a negative review about a product until now. Being on a fixed income and tight budget I have chosen to give this trash can 1 star since I cannot submit a review without giving at least 1 star but, if possible, it would get no stars given the cost and the disappointing performance.

Arrived quicker than estimate given at time of order, which was a welcome surprise. Cart is as expected and doing it's job well.
