These bags work!
Good bags. They are well made with a thick sturdy zipper. There is an opening at the top to fill water. The opening doesn't seal so you do need to zip the bag all the way up to keep the bag standing upright. If zipped 1/2-way, the bag can "flop" over and the water will spill out. Zippers come completely apart so that you can zip 2 or 3 bags together for larger sized tree trunks. Instructions say the bag will empty in 5-24 hours and I found that this was pretty accurate. I used on newly planted saplings (I probably should have bought something smaller) so I only filled partially due to the weight of the bag needing to be supported by the tree. After about 24 hours only a small amount of the water remained. The ground was wet underneath the bags around the base of the tree.Very happy with the quality and construction of the bag. It functioned well to keep my new trees hydrated. These bags were average for price but since they actually work as advertised I still feel it is a good value for the price.

Working well.
Bought this for a tree on the parking strip outside my house that always gets really dry and ratty looking in the summer. Hoping that more consistent watering will help. Takes three bags to circle the tree loosely. Once or twice a week I fill all the bags full. Takes maybe a day and a half to drain mostly. There's always a little water left inside because the bags don't sit perfectly upright, but it has been doing a good job of slowly watering the tree, and it seems to look better this year so far. Been in use for a couple of months with no issues.

These work really well.
Where does the water drain from? I filled a bag with some water and then held it up. Water didn't drain out at all. What am I missing? - update. The seeping holes are small. These tree bladders works amazingly well. I have three trees that took all 20 gallons in just under 8-10 hours each. I skipped a day and will refill again as we speak.

Bags flop over too easily
These bags are made out of a softer type of plastic that does not hold itself upright. So once the bag is about half drained, it often seems to stop draining anymore entirely due to the way that it flops over on itself. The bags with the harder plastic that stay upright on their own work way better. That said, it does hold a massive amount of water.

Bags/Pores Clog and Stop Releasing Water
I have used 2 of these bags so far, both have stopped draining the water completely. The first one stopped after using it for about 1 month, the second one stopped after filling it for the third time. Either the pores are getting clogged or the bag is melting, just enough, to clog the pores, which is weird though as I live in the PNW, so not super intense sun and/or heat. I have never experienced this with other tree bags. My advice is to purchase another brand.

Work as advertised. Seem good quality
Couldn’t find locally so ordered these. Seem sturdy and dispense water over time. Generally 5 or more hours.
