Makes a good cup! Doesn’t taste like coffee, but I don’t expect it to. It’s satisfying, non acidic, and if I need I can boost it with a tiny bit of actual coffee, and that’s good too.

I percolate mine for about 10 to 12 minutes and it gives me a really nice strong flavor

Great product for someone who does not drink coffee taste very similar. If you can’t have caffeine or coffee is too acidic. This is the way to go.

Loving coffee - the taste, the aroma! - but unable to consume much caffeine, I have resorted to decaf when my lovely licorice tea just wasn't what I wanted. I also drink chicory and have tried an assortment of other substitutes. I once asked a roaster why decaf is never a rich robust coffee like a good smokey French roast and was told that it's the decaffeinating process that limits the flavor and aroma of decaf. So, I found Teeccino and got excited! Excited enough to order 3 bags! But I did not do adequate research and was shocked to find that it has 30 calories and 7 grams carbohydrate per serving. Shocked. This information means that I cannot mindlessly drink cup after cup all day. I'm blaming the carob - which, by the way is the first ingredient. Something else I would have known had I researched this before purchasing in a moment of coffee deprivation and weakness. It's good. Not as aromatic as I'd like, but my allergies may be to blame. It certainly does not take me back to my favorite coffee at Place Francois Rude in Dijon, but maybe when I try it in the espresso maker I will change my mind. It will be fine in moderation, as most things are.
