customer service
the lights worked well until it rained. i reported the failure to the manufacturer. they immediately replaced the whole order. these are supposed to be out door lights, it appears it is possible to get a water leak were the string attaches to the controller plug. i coated it with silicone and intend to attach it upside down, fully expecting this to solve the problem

Great little lights, great Customer Service
These lights work great. I love they can change temp and brightness using the remote. I had an issue after two months but the company made it right and quickly at that. I will buy more in the future. Hoping for color changing

Work better than expected
This product is strong and durable, I however, chose to hang them on a small wire. They work great.

Failed operation way too soon
The lights are perfect for our outdoor application, length, style, amount of light. However, I have now had two of the units fail that plug into the first string, the other end into a timer that is plugged into an outdoor rated electrical outlet. That interface piece, likely a current/ voltage regulator of some sort, has failed twice now, and both were new from the supplier. The lights began to flash, and the interface piece was quite warm, not really hot though, to the touch. I may well have installed these incorrectly using the timer interface to cycle the lights, but don't notice any restriction on that set up step. I will remove these lights, and have bought more expensive replacements from a different manufacturer that clearly state they work with a timer like mine.Additional comment as of 7-2-2024: Very quickly after Amazon cleared my unsatisfactory review for posting, Addlon initiated a refund. I did not ask for a refund. Addlon did that of their own initiative. I appreciate such service, and candidly I never expect lower end product manufacturers to act this fashion. So I want to acknowledge Addlon's welcome action. Additionally, the "interface" part that I think did indeed fail, based on how warm to the touch it was, and that swapping the warm one out for a new one (each 48 foot string came with this piece), restored the lights to normal operation...for a short period, then the second unit also was warm to the touch, and the two 48 foot strings and one 24 foot string were flashing. Reading the "fine print" on the warm unit I learn it is a AC to DC converter, apparently supplied by Intertek, model 5023392. And again, I was plugging the AC/DC converter into a simple old fashioned mechanical timer I have used (of this same operating manner) for many outdoor electrical power on/off operations (pond pump, holiday lights), and so my application may have contributed to the converter failure.

What to know about these lights
We have a long split rail fence that we like to decorate with a soft "Christmas" glow year round. We have found these string lights to fit the bill as they're nearly perfect. We love that they are able to be set to 3 different light levels. The 2200k is what we're looking for. It's a nice golden light. I suppose in a business setting you'd use the higher rating lights. In the past year the company has gone to a plastic bulb housing which is a good thing. We've spent time on several occasions trying to find each shard of glass from a broken glass bulb. But, and I assume for further cost savings, the company is now providing the string with a lighter-weight wire. It works fine, BUT, we have just had a squirrel chew through these thinner strings (see pic) and that had never happened before with the thicker cable. If that is important to you, look for that as a feature, BUT I've then not been able to find the 2200k light that we wanted. I've installed about a dozen of these string sets now, and I still cannot get them out of the package without getting them first into a jumbled mess (Same pic). They even provide an instruction card on how to undo the lights, but it's beyond me how to do so! I think they share offices with the makers of the Rubik's cube! Good luck to you. One other thing that may help you: The company warns against plugging more than 2 light sets end to end, but that just doesn't work for us. I've successfully plugged 4 of these light sets end to end and they've lasted most of a year (so far) with no issues. Also, our fence uses 10' rails and I've been able to buy lengths at 10' per light set=1 rail. (So a 40' set was successfully wrapped around 4 rails and their posts.)

Love the remote and the warm/cool light options
The option to switch between warm and cool is a plus! The remote has timer options too, which is very helpful! And with different brightness settings, these really are the perfect lights for any occasion on the patio!

Great outdoor lights
We purchased a new home and we have a wonderful covered back porch. These lights topped it off and we love that they are dimmable.
