Duck Covers MFPS3232 Elite Square Fire Pit Cover, 32L x 32W x 24H, Patio Furniture Covers

When I received this cover and unwrapped it, I was skeptical as to how such a lightweight cover could offer any real protection for our firepit. It is maybe half as thick as the one it replaced. Since putting it on, we have had several really heavy rains, some with high winds, and the cover stayed in place and kept the firepit completely dry. The velcro straps toward the bottom of the corners secure to hold the cover firmly in place. I can't speak to longevity yet, but very happy with the performance of the cover thus far. We have a 36 inch square firepit, and this is rather roomy, which allows for easy on and off.

This is the second cover I've owned of this exact item. First one lasted 6 years which is really good for it being out in the weather all of these 6 years! The old one was still useable but had some tears in it. I'm keeping it to use for covering plants in the fall when we get frost. This is a good product. It stays on very well even without using the velcro straps. I water and dust proof. Easy to put on and take off. Looks nice also. Glad it was still available after this amount of time.

Bought this to replace the Duck cover that had lived a good life. While the first cover I bought held up well to the harsh Wisconsin winters and summers the quality of this one has me concerned about how well it will hold up. First one had a solid and durable feel, while this one is softer and feels much lighter weight. Overall it still fits well, is good quality, and looks good.

Duck Covers Elite 50-Inch Square Fire Pit Cover This cover works very well. First night in Oregon without a cover, the fire pit looked like a drowned rat. Surface dirt and raindrops. Amazon got the cover here in record time, as expected, and I unpacked it, cleaned the fire pit, and on went the cover. Fire Pit is 42" x 42" and the only decent cover I could find was my first Duck Cover. The fabric is nice looking and it feels soft to the touch, yet looks like plastic embedded. It is light so it is a no hassle remove or replace for anyone.Fit ... I knew before I ordered it the size was 50" x 50" so it would be oversized. It is, so plan A was to take up the slack with a bungee cord to keep the wind from moving it to my neighbor's place, 4 or 5 miles away. The Velcro works just fine as a loop to run a rope through and hold everything in place. To cinch it up, I rolled the unneeded portion of the inner Velcro and attached the outer strap. Works just fine and brings the bottom in a bit which was my intent. Then running the rope through and tying that down ... hey, when no one makes a perfect fit ... this works just fine.First check after two rain showers ... fire pit was not dusty and obviously quite dry. It works for me.UPDATE: Cover held up for two days of 40 mph winds, gusts to 65 mph along the Oregon Coast. In preparation I placed one thin rope over the top and there the fire pit stayed dry and the fabric withstood the winds without any issues.

I purchased this cover for my patio table along with the Duck Cover Grill Cover and I can honestly say I'm impressed with both. They're made of a tough, waterproof material that actually beads when it rains. The Velcro straps hold both securely in place and we haven't had either let loose and be wind-swept away. I have a square patio table that was 48x48 inches and this fire pit cover fits it like a glove! I could have even chosen to push the chairs under and it would still have covered all securely but I prefer the stack method to save space and just ordered another Duck Cover brand cover for my chairs. I have to say, I was amazed at how durable the material is, especially for the grill cover...I had purchased a black vinyl cover at a big-box home improvement store, brought it home and went to put it on my grill and tore the entire side of the vinyl on the metal grill corner. Not happening with Duck Covers, it went on smoothly and no snags, no tears, no problems. There are 4 Velcro straps on each of the 4 corners on the fire pit cover and they all wrapped securely around each leg of the table - it holds it down quite nicely.I anticipate all my Duck Covers will last me for years. I like how all my yard furniture/grill matches and Duck Covers will make sure these Cleveland winters don't ruin my furniture. It keeps the firepit dry no matter how hard the rain. It keeps the firepit dry while allowing it to breath. No sign if mold at all. The only issue is in high winds the straps loosen and the cover will blow off.

After the cover that came with our fire pit had all but disintegrated and I had tried my best to resurrect it with duct tape, it occurred to me that there might be after-market fire-pit covers. Lo and behold I found dozens of options on Amazon, none of them standing out too much from one another. I scoured them all looking at measurements and materials, and I found this one which appeared to be made out of a different kind of fabric than the rest, and be large enough to fit over our fire pit comfortably (something the stock cover and many other Amazon could barely do).We couldn't be more satisfied with this cover. It is a soft mesh material which allows it to be easily waded or folded up for storage when the weather's nice. It claims to be 100% water-proof and from what I can see it is. Additionally the mesh-like material is "breathable" so if there is any amount of moisture building up in the pit, it can air out. From the pictures it looks stiff and cardboardy but in the flesh it is as soft as a blanket. The velcro straps at each corner allow cinching to prevent the wind from whipping the cover off.The only concern you should have with this cover, as with any cover, is that you order the appropriate size. Too small and it won't fit, too big and a strong gust could carry it away (even with the velcro straps).

i had wondered what all the "hub-ub" (is that a real thing?) was about this brand and product and needed a new cover for my fire table. yes peeps, it is that good. excellent quality (better than i was expecting for the price point) and its fits perfectly on my Bond fire table. i am pretty sure it will survive the winter here in cold cold Edmonton.

Since we got rid of our gazebo, we needed a cover for the fire table so it is not out in the elements. This cover fits perfectly, looks good and has held up well so far. It was a very good price too!

The cover seems to be well made and fits 40 X 40 inch fire table well. I will know better how well the cover holds up after a winter in the elements. I would give it a 5 star rating if had the experience of one winter season in the cold and damp!!

Great fit for our outdoor fireplace. Keeps it drive and safe from the elements.

Fits on our fire pit perfectly. Easy secure straps too. Great price and material quality seems excellent.
