This was a present for my grandson. He is hard to buy for. The magnetic chess pieces look and feel nice and don’t fall off the board. We enjoy setting up and taking down the game. The built in storage is a plus. I am really happy I looked on Amazon before I went to stores. The selection is excellent, I don’t have to leave home, and the price was reasonable. We will be playing chess frequently now

Nice first chess set for a pre-teen just learning the game. Everything stores inside. The board does not open perfectly flat, but the pieces still stay upright. Magnets are not very strong but you probably wouldn't want them to be. Good value for the price
