Seems to be very well made. Solid and not flimsy at all. Handles allow a sturdy grip.

I wanted something for light home use, I’m not a body builder. Weights are easy to use, couldn’t be happier. Hopefully the dial a weight mechanism holds up but it seems fine.

First off, I have never used a set of adjustable dumbbells before. I have nothing to compare this set to. That being said I love how easy these are to adjust. The dumbells have to be sitting in their base and all you do is rotate the grip and line the indicator up with the weight that you desire. When you lift the dumbbell out of the tray any unneeded weights will remain in the base. There is a safety system to keep the grip from rotating when it is out of the base so you don’t have to worry about accidentally releasing any of the weight plates while working out. The whole system seems well designed and the markings are very easy to see. If I had any concern it would just be taking good care of the bases. They are plastic and if they get damaged by someone putting the dumbbells back too roughly the system will be useless. My overall assessment is that this is a very good set for home use and is a pretty good value. I am enjoying using these and would recommend them to my friends and family.

I've owned this and a major brand of adjustable barbells as well. I got this for my SO as it's a bit lighter, more in-range for their needs, and not a bad price at all.So these are different, by far, from my other weights b/c you twist the handle of the weight to adjust the weights up or down. This is actually easier than mine b/c you have to twist the right and left side of my weights to adjust the weight up and down. These weights make adjustments a single-step one movement move. It's a superior thing and I hope the design stands the test of time because it's simpler.The only major issue I have with these is what I'd term a design flaw. It's visually appealing to make the middle of the handle bright but it's unrealistic. Frankly the handle portion, where one puts their hands, should be black IMO. Why? Black would hide any stains or flaws. This is the rubbery polyurethane covered, which is the right material, but I'm pretty sure that since we all sweat, have some tiny amount of dirt on our hands, or otherwise stain things with time I doubt that bright orange will stay in my case. Even if this is some magical rubbery PU I still think it will be discolored with time.So these weights are good, and a good value, and frankly have a superior design with that tiny design flaw of the handle being the same color as the weights. It really should be black to hide any stains and that would make these just about perfect.
