It was a little smaller of a speciman than I anticipated, but it actually ended up being the perfect size piece and a very high quality one at that. You can see all of the intricate details of the bats wings and "hands", the fangs are displayed so they'reprotruding and easily visible, and the fur is clean with no visible signs of injury, deformity, or illness. I bought it for a co-worker who loves bats and taxidermy she loved it so much she teared up and named him. Now he's displayed prominently on her desk and she points it out to anyone who hasn't seen it.

Exactly as advertised. I've used it many times for mammal interpretive sessions with kids. It's the right size to pass around. The kids love being able to hold a real bat. After wiping a few fingerprints off, it still looks new. A great value for my collection.
