BarbieFashionistas Doll #225, Curvy Body Type with Brown Hair, Pink Sparkly Dress & Accessories, 65th Anniversary Collectible Toy

I ordered two different Fashionista Barbies, and I love them both! It's great that they make such a variety of dolls and they are affordable! It's very different from the Barbies of my youth. Since I am used to the Barbies from the 1970s and '80s, these initially felt lightweight and inexpensively made, but I quickly got over that. After having them a while and putting them through many wardrobe changes, they are quite durable! Also, the hard plastic bodies lend themselves well to changing them in and out of tight outfits. It's so easy! The rubbery feel of the older dolls always made it very hard to pull clothes on and off. These are so easy!I purchased doll #221, with natural black hair, and doll #222, which has the petite body type. I'm very happy with both! I did see other reviews where there was a bit of trouble with doll 221's hair. I will admit it does not look like the pictures, but it does still look really great in person! It had a few straggly bits hanging down touching her shoulders, so I simply snipped off those pieces with scissors and she looks great! Her natural hair was a little flat and matted in places, but it fluffs back up fairly easily. I just gently pulled it this way and that until I liked the shape. As for doll 222, I was afraid her petite size would make it hard to find clothing that fits. I haven't encountered any issues yet. Maybe just one long dress that was a little too long for her, but I just put on really high-heeled shoes and she was okay. Both dolls are not very busty, but everything still seems to fit! Super happy with both!

Her shoes are cute! They are white so they are perfect for repaints or if you need an on the spot fancy shoe.Her hair is really nice too! There are a few colors in there. But that’s not the only thing. Something with this doll specifically, her hair was really nice on every doll I have of her.I bought a few of these dolls for a custom run of heads I am making.Her head sculpt is smaller in comparison to other dolls. This doll is the lightest skin tone Mattel makes at this time. (As far as I know) So she matchs the Kristi Yamaguchi doll or the tennis player Made To Move doll. She has the standard fashionista body with the arms down and flat feet.

This Barbie is beautiful. I am a collector and I am proud of this doll. She is wonderful, the value is great, durability is solid, it is an amazing buy. I can't believe the price. She is going to go up in price. I reminds me Pam Grier. They need to make a collector doll of Pam Grier. The afro is wonderful, great hair. A child will love this doll, maybe 5 or 6 years old. So they don't put anythig in their mouth. The shoes concern me. I am surprised by this doll. The dress is high quality to. She is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. A+

Used for my husband's 30th birthday cake.Great doll and excellent quality.Body and hands moved great for decorating the cake.Fun to use this doll to decorate with.It served it's purpose and functional purpose as a drunk ken barbie on a cake.

I bought the blonde with the golden jumpsuit. She is nice. The only reason I took a star off is because her boots slip right off. I had to put little clear rubber bands around the top of her boots in order for them to stay on. I used the clear rubber bands that she was packaged with (around her hair/arms/etc.), so try not to cut them off because you might need to use them for the boots.

Beautiful . I decorated this doll with an Indian saree costume and was looking amazing
