I looked on Amazon for replacement filters for the Air 180 that friends gave me brand new. The original Bissell filter only lasted 2 months before the red replacement light came on. My prior air purifiers' filters always lasted 6-12 months at least, especially that I only use the machine at night in my bedroom. I now have a foster bunny. I clean her litter box fairly often, but it's the hay itself that kind of bothers me when I'm trying to sleep. I just started using it in the living room where her expen is during the day. Even on the lowest setting in a pretty large living room, it seems to be keeping the air fresh. I can't see any difference between this generic and the much more expensive Bissell.

My Bissell Air180 air purifier was in need of new filters, so I picked these up as affordable replacements. The HEPA filtration seems to be capturing pet dander, dust and other allergens effectively so far. Having a spare set on hand is convenient too. They were simple to install by following instructions. A worthwhile purchase to keep my air purifier operating at peak performance without breaking the bank on OEM filter replacements from Bissell directly.

These are nice quality replacements that for all intensive purposes directly mirror the OEM unit's filters.Though I don't have a microscope to compare filter mediums at a microscopic level, I feel confident these are filtering your air of fine dust and other contaminants just fine. I would expect them to suit the in-home purifier filter user adequately. After all, like printer ink, the big brands aren't making money off of the unit itself. It's all in the service, ownership costs. These at least give you an option to use your purifier at a reasonable cost.If you're using your bissell in a medical facility and have concerns in using something off-brand, then certainly lean toward the brand name replacements for whatever legal, reassurance, confidence reasons you deem necessary.

This filter fit my Bissell with no issue. It seems to filter just as well as the OEM filter just at a better price.
