Nice light weight single rack
I was in the market for a lightweight single rack that was easy to install and easy to add/remove bike. This one was on sale and I believe for what I paid this is perfect. It's sturdy and well built and had s smaller footprint as seen in the pic. I have a small garage and I wanted something that I can easily install then go on the ride and then remove after coming back. For that purpose this works perfectly. I did notice a little wobble on bumps on the road but that might be normal as everything was sturdy when I checked later. For a longer trip, I may add a stronger hitch pin and bike lock as some people have mentioned here.I would throw a caveat that if there was an add-on option to add more racks as needed like other competitors do this would've checked all the boxes. However, add-ons do come with a cost and I may opt to get a different track with better tech at a later date. For now this is a no hassel good product by Yakima at a better price tag.One additional note make sure to tuck in the bike lock. It got out and got dragged on the street and shaved off some of the hard plastic (see pic). Luckily the lock was still safe and operated fine.

GREAT single bike rack!
I love this bike rack! I got rid of a Thule rack I've had for twenty years, and bought this incredibly well-designed and engineered replacement. This Yakima rack platform is very low which makes it sooooooo easy to load and unload a bike. Once loaded properly the bike is completely secure.Since the low platform does not have a vertical upright bar, when not in use I can open and close the hatch on my SUV. In addition, again since the platform is low, it does not interfere with the backup sensors on my late model Lexus.Several super thoughtful features including a really smart, convenient built-in bike lock. I'll probably never use the built-in bottle opener but again, it is indicative of thoughtful design.

Great rack for a great price
I really like the ease of use of this rack but the front tire clamp comes a little loose if not in the correct 1" from the fork area. I like the extra lock and the very easy install. The plastic pieces in the pivot area that holds the rear tire seams a little janky but I have had no problems so far. Very little movement in the rack at all. I was going to buy the one up but the wait time was ridiculous so I hope this one holds up over time. Yakima being around for a long time gave me confidence in my purchase.

Well worth the price
This was exactly as advertised. Very sturdy carrying my bike even on the interstate, it barely moved. However it's extremely light and sits low enough that I can use it with no help, cause the bike doesn't have to be lifted into the air to place it. May take some practice getting it installed on your vehicle (aligning the pin into the slot) but well worth it. Love it!

Super easy to use and very sturdy
I’ve never used a hitch mount rack and I was surprised how easy it was to use. I was super nervous having my bike on the back of my vehicle but it is so rock solid when the bike is attached, any reservations I had went away. Easy to store as well. Def recommend

Pretty nice rack: UPDATED AGAIN from 3 stars to 2 to 1
Has some wobble, but it's OK for my purposes. My one big issue with this rack is that the locking cable (for what it's worth) can be VERY hard to pull out of its tube. I think I will have to stop using it and just get some bungee cords to help secure the bike.UPDATE: Well, I've been using this rack for about 6 months. When it first shipped, it was with a broken part (the quill that goes inside the tongue, which fits inside the hitch). The company promptly provided a new quill, and that was enough to get this rack assembled. But now the screws have popped out of the threaded plate on one side of the rack, and the threaded plate itself fell out, too. The rack is now unusable because it is unsafe at any speed.Once again, the company is sending me replacement hardware, promptly and at no cost. I appreciate that. But it's not clear that the rack is still in good enough shape for the replacement hardware to be installed, since the rack now seems warped on one side.I honestly would have paid much more for this rack, just for the light weight and the convenience, if it had components of better quality.LATEST UPDATE: Though properly installed, this rack just detached from my car, with my bike securely mounted on it. Both rack and bike ended up on the highway. Beyond pissed.ONE MORE UPDATE: A brand-new rack just showed up at my door, no charge to me. Thanks, Yakima!

Love it
Works perfect/as advertised. Light enough/ quick enough to pop on/off and stash when I want to swap to my towing ball.

Terrible to assemble
This should be so easy to assemble. There are four bolts. But the bolts are too short to reach the threads. Incredibly frustrating. Have to go buy the correct bolts.
