I’m not a professional videographer so maybe someone who is might want something bigger and with better image quality, but this did exactly what I was hoping it would. I purchased it just before a beach vacation since I booked a house on the beach - I wanted to capture the waves and passing clouds; I got lucky with a storm that rolled in. The battery lasted all day and since it’s controlled with an app, the video downloaded right to my phone. I currently have it set up to capture my blooming orchid (which obviously takes longer than a day) so I have it charging while also recording. Very happy with my purchase! ### ⭐ Disappointed, I guess I’ll use my real cameras and do it right *by on Reviewed in the United States July 17, 2026* Couldn’t get up and running.Downloaded the app.Took the battery out so I could get to the QR code. The green light kept on turning orange as it lost connection to my phone that was right beside it.There’s no way to use this camera without surrendering your information.And because I refused to create an account with them, I now realize I should just go back to using all of my beautiful Lumax cameras.This seemed like an attractive alternative to putting my fancy cameras inside a city building to watch groundbreaking and Construction of a skyscraper next-door.But the lens doesn’t even allow for a filter to be attached. There’s no threads.And the tally light is on the front instead of the top. In the app, I tried to use the Support feature, but it did not even list the T 100 “Light“ manual focus.I was really looking forward to trying this out based on the promo description of it.But it looks like I’m better off using my real cameras on which I can put circular polarizer and not worry about an LED reflecting back at the camera through the window.If you don’t know, a circular polarizer allows you to dial out glare that may occur photographing through windows or water.After querying my problems through AI it looked like there might be a way to get a direct link to the camera. But I think AI was wrong as the app seems to be the only way to gain access to the cameras network. But again it would not permit that unless I gave up a lot of personal information so having wasted several hours, I will immediately return it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ A+ for the camera - F for the app. Recommend with reservations. *by on Reviewed in the United States July 12, 2025* The reason it's 3 stars is only because of the app. This camera would be amazing if they would spend a few bucks and hire a good UX (user experience) professional and an app developer to improve the app so that ANYBODY can get up and running right away. If you're not tech savvy, you might throw your arms up and return this thing. If you are savvy or know someone who is, this is a really good camera to have. I work in tech and I'm still having trouble finding things in the app. The instructions give you the steps, but then the items it says you'll see, you don't see. Either it's an old Help procedure that hasn't been updated or it's just crap instructions. Either way, the poor quality of the app and lack of accurate and detailed instructions could definitely be a show stopper for someone who doesn't have patience.Once the camera is connected to your wifi, you can set a schedule for it to start and stop, and set the interval speed. This model doesn't do any zooming, close up shooting. But you can work around that. If you want close up filming out of the gate, you'll want to get their other model for zooming. I found that out after buying this. My workaround for that is that I just imported my video from the app to my iPhone pictures and I could zoom it there. So...this is clunky as heck with regard to instructions, help, and setting it up with Wifi. If it tells you you're not connected to wifi, just go to settings on your phone and re-choose your wifi name and then it seems to recognize it again. This COULD be a plug and play camera, it could be easy to use IF ONLY they would make the app user friendly and intuitive, put more navigation items in there and have accurate user instructions. If they'd just spend a few bucks to improve the app and make it easy for anyone to use, they would see their product reviews and sales improve. The camera itself is very nice and does fantastic time lapse filming. It's a shame their app is so poorly designed.
