If you like a brisk, alcohol based after shave, consider this product. It tightens up your skin after a shave and has a clean and refreshing smell. Even though it's alcohol based, it has a moisturizing feel to it--which I like some days more than others. Attractive looking packaging that it comes in. It's Gilette--and they've been around a long time and generally produce good and reliable products. This is one of them!

First time ever trying this aftershave. This is a liquid splash type which is what I like. The smell is fine but it is a little weak. For the price and what it is, it’s worth the purchase.

The delivery was great! My husband has been wearing this for years. He is a simple man and doesn't need or want anything else. A true creature of habit. As long as he's happy and smells nice I'll keep buying it.

I remember buying this at Walmart for under three dollars, but lately it’s becoming harder to find there. On Amazon, you often have to buy multiples just to qualify for shipping. It’s starting to feel a bit expensive, which is surprising for such a basic item. That said, the product itself is excellent. The quality is top-notch, and the mildly woody and spicy scent is captivating. It has a clean, refreshing, and slightly cool masculine aroma—never overpowering or sweet—making it perfect for everyday use. It’s especially ideal after shaving, leaving your skin feeling soothed and invigorated. I really love how fresh and energized it makes you feel after each use!

If my memory serves, Gillette’s Cool Wave line launched in the early 90’s - I’m guessing in response to the popularity of Cool Water cologne (still a classic). I say that because, if you like Cool Water or similar “blue” type fragrances, this aftershave splash is for you. I’m also including that because, for a line that’s been around for about 30 years, until I ordered this here, I’ve never seen it in a store. I’d been using the Cool Wave aftershave gel - also a great, affordable product, but was looking for something with a little alcohol to give my face a “snappy” feeling instead of greasy. And brother, this stuff does exactly that! For less than six dollars, you get a generous bottle. It soothes my skin quickly, and has a pleasant, but not overwhelming, clean scent that lasts a few hours - and it doesn’t smell like an “old guy” fragrance. Most importantly, I don’t need to use a lot for it to be effective. This stuff could easily be mistaken for something much more expensive.
