It gave me so much volume! The stylist used a round brush to do my blow out, and I'd say my hair was almost huge. (I have long, fine, dark brown hair that gets oily quickly). When I style my hair, I spray a very small amount on the roots of my wet hair (sometimes spray it on my hands and work it through the roots instead) and just blow dry the roots while lifting up the hair in sections with my hands. This product gives me a lot of volume without getting oily or weighing it down. I tried the Brocato Mouse, but it makes my hair oily sooner than I'd like, although not as bad as other products. I also use a powder dry shampoo at the crown to make a wash/blow-dry last 2-3 days (Oscar Blonde Protno). Rootfix is getting difficult to find, so I'm happy I found it here. I didn't spray it on my hair, I sprayed it on my hand and emulsified it then ran it on the roots of my hair. Because this was my first time using it, I wanted to make sure I didn't use too much. I dried my hair as usual and my hair was off my head and it's been 4 hours now and my hair is still like it was when I first did it this morning. I'm loving this stuff!!!
