excellent lift device
this compound lift is very light and easy to use. i used to make lift so i could get out of recliner after lower back surgery. compound pulleys made this very simple. after recovery i am going to be using to lift a solid brass bell that came out of our church and set up so i can build new outdoor pole at our church. i expect it to work very well and with very little effort.

Work okay, but only under load.
They work when under load but the lines tangle badly around the pulley frame when you remove the load.

Best use common sense when using
The two hand straps worked great. Nice length and very rugged. Block and tackle wheels are plastic. Frame of upper and lower pulleys are sandwiched using stamped out metal frames. The rope is 3/8” poly. Rope. It’s definitely not the type of rope you’d want to hold anything over a couple hundred pounds. I used this item to suspend a 84” x 51”! X 1 1/2” stair landing while I prepped it to lay it flat on two steel beams. The landing is approx 150 lbs. I tied the rope off using dock cleats attached to a walk stud. I out 4 eye hooks in as well. One for each corner and tied them off as well. I couldn’t trust the block and tackel to support the weight by itself. Q My biggest issue with this product was there was NO instruction in the box. With an item that claims to lift the weight advertised you’d expect to see precautions like the do’s & don’t and which end is up. Which I still don’t know I had to guess. The seller had asked for a review and now almost a week later here it is. I didn’t plan on returning it. now after reading what I’ve written I’m going to see if the seller will Accept a return. Conclusion: use the thing between your ears and don’t put yourself at risk and stay out of the way of what ever is rigged up to

Great value
For the money it's a great value. Has no trouble at all with up to 300 pounds. More than that becomes very physically challenging to do by hand, but the unit itself seems to be able to handle the weight.

Reliable and gives you the lifting strength of Superman
No complaints! Rope going through turnbuckle had no issues compared to some I've used in the past where the rope would sometimes drift and snag between the side and the pulley wheel. I frequently use this with a ramp at the back of the truck to pull heavy loads into the truck that I would otherwise be unable to get into the bed of the truck.

There is no lift ratio
Really crap. Pulleys dont want to align properly, ropes come undone easily and twist. Trying to lift a 110 pound hay bale? I felt zero mechanical help..... ZERO. Useless piece of trash.

Todo muy bien el único detalle es la soga que con el uso se tuerce un poco pero todo lo demás muy bien

Had a 30 foot eucalyptus tree (20cm diameter trunk) come over in the last storm, had tried to lift it with heavy duty ratchett straps but just too heavy and broke a couple. Bought this block and tackle and didn’t hold out much hope for the money but physics works and I was able to pull it up bit by bit until upright. I don’t think it was even straining to do the job, the hardest bit was keeping a grip on the thin rope that come with it. With 2 people it would have been easy, however my wife just watched from the comfort of the sofa whilst I fought gale force winds and rain and very muddy garden to save her tree. Thanks for the help babe.

I purchased x2 of these to lift x4 250Kg beams and fit 2.4m off floor level. Access was difficult so I couldn’t hire a Genie lift. They worked very well, although I incorporated scaffold at lift stages for added safety as ‘support stations’. The only issue is that the rope supplied twists and sometimes it’s necessary to rethread through the pulleys. Very good value for money.

My husband has a portable lumber mill. He is using this block and tackle to help him lift logs into the mill. Very solid. Happy with purchase.
