NiSi NC UV Filter for Fuji Fujifilm X100VI, 49mm Camera Lens Filter, Silver

Purchased this for my brand new x100vi. I’ve yet to take a bunch of photos with it attached but I’m sure the image quality won’t be affected much. The camera is weather sealed but having this filter attached to the lens will complete the weather sealed. Personally.. I like to walk around with the lens cap off when I’m shooting photos on the street so this will help protect my lens from dust , finger grease and rain / drizzle. This camera is not cheap, so some peace of mind is totally worth the asking price of this filter and adapter combo. It feels premium, it is lightweight and looks good. The Fuji lens cap still fits over the barrel. If you’re looking at this, go ahead and grab it. It also doesn’t block the ovf!

Phenomenal. I have used this platform since the original. This is the best solution I have ever come across for ensuring I can just leave my lens cap at home. Well made, clear glass, I prefer it to the Fuji brand filter adapter and filter in order to make it “weather resistant”. The thinnest setup I have found.

I hate turning my X100VI into a bulky setup, so I keep accessories to an absolute minimum—just a screen protector and this NiSi filter. Since the lens is fixed, scratching it essentially means replacing the whole camera, so this filter stays on to protect against smudges, bumps, and scratches when the lens cap is off. Before buying, I read some negative reviews about the original lens cap not fitting, the silver color not matching the camera body, sizing issues, or receiving dirty units. I had zero of those problems. It fits and matches the silver X100VI perfectly. Perhaps this is an updated version that ironed out early flaws. I don't know. It adds almost no depth to the camera, and I haven't noticed any visual artifacts or image degradation. My only gripe is that I wish it didn't cost $40+, but given what it does to protect the camera, I've come to terms with it. I'd recommend it.

Spending $1600 on a camera like the X100VI, you want to protect it from the elements as best as you can, while also not being afraid to use your camera. According to Fujifilm, their solution to weather seal the X100VI was to buy 2 additional accessories. The AR-X100 adapter ring (~$48) and the PRF-49 UV filter (~$49). That is almost another $100 extra. While looking for what others have done, this Nisi NC UV filter popped up in a video. Nisi is well known and has been in the filter business for a long time. The fact that this filter is all in one piece works better for me at $39. I don't plan on ever removing it unless there is a reason to. I also liked that the filter info and branding is not printed on the exterior of the filter. It is hidden behind. That definitely keeps the clean look of the filter and camera. Another plus is the original lens cap fits firmly just like it did without the filter. One negative is as with all filters there will be some kind of glare when shooting at direct light at certain angles, you'll have to learn to work with it.

Excellent match with the X100VI! Provides protection for the lens from weather and bumps/scratches, while preserving the image quality and allowing the OEM hood to be attached once you have finished shooting for the day.

Simple to install, mated well with the X100vi and appears as part of the original instead of an add-on, really nice!

I wanted to review this after a few months of purchase. Travelled with it to multiple countries and it protected my lenses. I do feel it causes some blurring or not 100% focus in my pictures but it could be a skill issue. But it does what needed, protect from rain for me.

Love this so much. It’s sleek and almost retains the original design of the camera. I also like that it doesn’t add too much bulk like the other lens hood. But lately I’ve been getting into the pro mist glow look and I HOPING NISI would make this same product but replace the UV glass with a pro mist! Pleaseeee. Otherwise, this product is perfect.

I got this Nisi UV filter only for some more protection for the Fuji x100vi lens from dust ingress and water. So far it has been excellent for added peace of mind! I always keep it on the camera. Doesn't add to size much, still compact. Don't need adaptors, screws on directly. ALSO, the Fuji lens cap fits well on this protective filter for when you put the camera in a bag. I have NOT noticed any bad effect on image quality, especially in ordinary and good lighting, though I am not an experienced photographer to judge the IQ. Seems excellent for me and those like me!

Pour un fuji x100v, second filtre remplacé suite à une chute avec le boîtier, vraiment très bien pour une simili tropicalisation, cela protège aussi l'objectif, vraiment très efficace, très bon article.

Anello con filtro UV per Fuji X100 V, in grado di tropicalizzare completamente la fotocamera, decisamente meno costoso dell'originale. Di facile applicazione, non aumenta la profondità dell'obiettivo, ma impedisce il montaggio di un paraluce. Efficiente, anche in relazione alle esperienze di altri acquirenti.

The design doesn’t add much additional bulk to the camera itself and serves as an additional layer of protection. The silver aluminium is a perfect match to the X100VI itself and doesn’t look like a third party add-on.
