Premium Olive Oil Mister and Cooking Sprayer with Clog-Free Filter and Glass Bottle by CHEFVANTAGE - Black

My experience with this device has been that it works just as it is supposed to work. You Pump up the air pressure as directed & the device will spray a fine mist of Olive Oil out of the nozzel for a short period of time. My only critical remark at this point would be that the Olive Oil will tend to "weep" down the side of the device. However, I would have to observe that this is more of a function of the physical properties of Olive Oil when it is forced under pressure into a spray nozzel rather than a failure of the device. I simply recomend that users always keep paper towels handy to wipe the device down after every use and to also be prepared for wiping up any of the Olive Oil that might have been inadvertantly misdirected by poor aim. Common Sense should inform the user that one has to be aware of where one is aiming the nozzel when the device is in use - if one does not - well, with poor aim the situation will obvioussly and unavoidably get messy. I have been using this device to prepare food for cooking & the results have been excellent. I find that this device works exceptionally well for preparing Baked Potatoes to be cooked in an Air Fryer. I only owned this device for a couple of weeks but I can report have not experienced any clogging and that it is relatively easy to clean the device given that it is being used to spray Olive Oil. Based on this experience - I am able to recomend the product.

The oil mister works as described and looks great sitting on my counter! Be sure to read the instructions on how it operates carefully before giving up. I had to work with the company to get additional information on how to set up the mister; they were great to work with and very responsive. Now I don't know how I lived without this oil mister!

Update: Out of the blue, I was sent a replacement sprayer to see if my first one was defective. I cleaned both sprayers and compared them head to head and their performance was identical. I’m upping my star rating by a star to reflect the fact that, having to pressurize twice may just be the nature of these. Both sprayers performing identically shows the quality control in place with these sprayers as well. Lastly the extra star is to reflect the great customer service. The replacement sprayer that was sent came with thorough instructions, faqs, and even a small note stating why it was sent with an apology and further guarantees on their product. I’m now getting used to having to pressurize the thing twice which really isn’t a big deal; my initial dissatisfaction was due to having one I only had to pressurize once. To be fair, there were some downsides to that sprayer also. This sprayer is just alright. My last one was significantly better. When using a 12” fry pan you’ve gotta pump it about ten times, spray till the pressure is gone, put the top on again and pump another ten times and spray again to get decent coverage. The last sprayer I had, got by with one set of ten pumps easy. I also don’t love how the nozzle is so close to the top so some of the spray cone tends to land on and drip down the top. The black sprayer looks nice though and all in all it does as it’s supposed to

This is hands down the best oil sprayer we've found (and we've tried several). We use our sprayer many times a week as we frequently coat pans with olive oil prior to cooking and also love popcorn with a light spray of olive oil. After literally hundreds of times of using it, the sprayer for some reason stopped spraying oil and was just spraying air. I reached out to the seller to ask if they had any ideas why, and even though I didn't specifically ask for a replacement, they offered to send one out - which we received just the other day. Now that's some great customer service! The sprayer might be a few more dollars than other options but to us has been worth the added cost - especially when the seller takes care of their customers as well as this one does. The only other issue we ran into is that we at times could not get the top to unscrew to refill, even after letting all the pressure out of the container. We did, however, find a simple fix - just run the top edge of the black plastic edge under some warm to hot water for a few seconds. The top will then unscrew very easily. Not sure if this was just an isolated issue with our original sprayer or not, but perhaps that will help others.

I liked how I was able to save money and extra bottles for oil misting. This worked well for the first 6 months, however, after that I noticed no matter how much I would pump, it would not work. Additionally the bottle got completely stuck and I was unable to unscrew it (no matter hard I twisted or how many Avengers team mates helped). I tried using a special lid grip to also try and open it, but only ended up scratching the bottle and dying a little on the inside. I’ll make sure and have Thanos snap it out of existence—I mean throw it away as it no longer works other than for serving as a trophy for the futility of trying to have successfully greased pans.

I bought this and the second time using it the glass top shattered on about the ~10th pump. The first time I used this it took about 15 and it worked great, so I was disappointed that it broke so quickly! The spray bottle also does get pretty oily after spraying, too.

I've only uses this mister a couple of times but i love the quality and spray pattern/amount each time. The quality can be felt and the glass makes a difference. I used to have a Misto and it was good at first but failed after some time. This sprayer feels more solid with a powerful spray after just a few quick pumps of air with the cap. It's a bit pricey but I hope the function and quality last and it will be worth the money!

There is another common design for oil misters that you'll see on Amazon. We tried that design...it never really aerosolized the oil into a fine mist, and eventually it broke. So we bought this sprayer (which involves pumping air into the chamber to force the oil out) and it works quite well, and has proven to be sturdy so far. Definitely recommend this product.

I was in love with this oil sprayer when I purchased it. Unfortunately after refilling it just a couple of times, the top half is so difficult to unscrew even after running under hot water. I'm a pretty strong guy so I'm not too sure what to do with this thing..

After 6 or so months, the mist was a stream and not a misting. Now I cannot unscrew it at all to clean it. I now see the issue of not being able to unscrew the top reported by others as well. At this price, this should not be the case in only 14 or so months. And I recommend you not by anything from the seller HYPERMARKT. Not good business practices !
