The tin is a beautifully designed accent in my kitchen and would be an impressive gift for anyone who enjoys more unusual better-quality tea. The tea is doubly protected with the combination of the resealable pouch and the tin caddy. Opening the pouch releases a pleasing complex scent of almonds enhanced with floral fragrance. The tea itself is mellow and delicious. I started with a healthy pinch and tried different steeping times to find the right flavor strength. I especially like it as an excellent hot lunch or dinner beverage and a more unusual tea to offer visiting friends.

I really liked this tea! The flavor was good - kinda got a taste of almond. The smell was good, everything was just good! The dragon book tin was was equally good! Definitely recommend this product to any avid tea lover or dragon lover!

This is a premium specialty loose-leaf tea from Sri Lanka packaged in a zip-sealed pouch inside a beautiful collectable book-shaped tin caddy. The ingredients of this unique tea are Ceylon black tea, cornflower, jasmine buds, blue malva (mallow), with smoky roasted almond flavor. I realize taste is subjective and, while I like Ceylon black tea, when combined with these other ingredients, it has a slightly sour (as in lemon), and smoky taste that I didn’t like as much as I expected to. It is a good value when considering the collectible caddy with 100g of tea that provides 50 2g servings.

This tasty almond flavored tea comes in a really cool tin - it looks like a book and has a dragon on it. The tea is tasty and the tin is a collectable - great for gift giving too.

This tea comes in a neat metal book container, but that isn’t why I wanted this product. I grabbed this for the tea so let’s dive into the actual tea itself. Right off the bat the smell is somewhat strange. It has a light tea scent, but then has a toasted almond scent that has been added. It is a little overpowering smell from the container directly, which initially made me worry it would be overpowering in the brewed product, but to my surprise it actually wasn’t. The tea takes a longer than normal steep time. At 5 minutes it was definitely not ready. At around 7-8 minutes it looked and smelled like a good medium to medium-light brew. I added a very small amount of cream and sugar to create the final brewed product.So how was it? It was OK. The tea itself had a good flavor, but I think the almond flavor is a little gimmicky. I’m not sure it was actually needed, or at least at such a level they added it to this tea. Will I continue to drink this? Yep, it is an interesting tea that brews up well and I enjoyed it. Would I buy it again? I don’t know. I think it will depend on how this tea tastes after drinking it a few more times and if the almond flavor gets too old. Mixed recommendation from me. If you like almond flavor this is the tea for you.

Basilur’s Tea Book Collection Dragon Edition Vol 1 is an awesome tea and package.The tea has a flavorful, mellow flavor complemented by a strong toasted almond (amaretto) flavor. I normally drink my tea with a teaspoon or so of sugar, but I didn’t feel any was necessary in this case because of the amaretto flavor.The book-like package is my favorite tea package ever! I’m also a book nerd (fantasy books included), so this tea makes a really fun addition to my office tea collection. The detail and quality spared nothing. See the pictures!The price is really reasonable for a gift item, as well. I totally recommend this tea!

I'm a sucker for novelty packaging and have been exploring tea flavors, so I was excited to try this. And it doesn't disappoint!The tin is SO cool! It looks even more impressive than the product photos. The dragon graphic is 3 dimensional and the edge appears like realistic golden pages. It opens like a real book and the tea pouch itself is designed to look like the first page of a book, which is so neat.And the tea itself is really high quality. It smells amazing and doesn't have a potpourri leaning scent like some can, so I'm really loving it. There's also a nuttiness to it that tastes so delicious. Highly recommend!

Black Ceylon Tea With cornflower, Jasmine, Malva, and roasted almonds. Hand picked, award-winning, ethically sourced. As soon as you open the bag, you are greeted with the most amazing aroma and you definitely get the intense roasted almond notes. The almond notes are diminished after brewing and I didn't get as much almond flavor post brewing as I did aroma pre brewing. I think the black ceylon tends to overpower that a bit but, still a delicious, smooth, premium cup of tea👍👍
