Low Cost / Lightweight Cover
You can pay $200 for a solar cover or $100 for one, either way itโll only last two years at the most. Iโve accepted Iโll be tossing it after two seasons. Forget about any guarantee, itโs not happening.

Destroyed after 3 months of use
I bought this pool solar cover and received it on the first day of June. Delivery was quick as expected, the cover seemed new when opened. It was easy enough to cut to the shape of my pool despite being a very large cover. It raised the temperature of the pool about 8 degrees above normal. Our pool is in a windy location, but the cover, once cut to the shape, was not moved by the wind. The cover reduced the evaporation nicely. I only needed to refill the pool half as often. When we first started using the cover, we could immediately see that the material was very thin and flimsy. This made taking it off easy since it was light, but it could not withstand much use. Within a month there were holes and rips in the cover. Also, the bubbles in the cover started popping over time, despite the fact that we were gentle with the cover and the pool chemicals are correctly administered by a professional. By the end of month three there were no bubbles left on the cover. The cover now sits like a wet rag on top of the pool and sinks easily as water gets on top of it. In the photo, the white squares are the patches I put on the cover to keep it together. My pool professional laughed at my cover. He said for what I paid ($200) I should have gotten a much better cover. He said he will buy the cover next year and show me the difference. I think I will go that route with my next cover. He mostly faults the thinness of the material and how quickly it degraded when exposed to the chlorine. So, I would say that this is a one season cover at best.

Exceptional performance and huge energy savings!
Exceptional performance and huge energy savings for our 16x32 Intex above-ground pool! Weโve now bought this Sun2Solar Blue 16 ft x 32 ft 8 mil solar cover twice and it has been one of the best investments weโve made for our pool. We live in Hemet, CA where summer days regularly hit the high 90s to low 100s. With this cover on during the day, weโve seen our 14,400-gallon pool reach **100ยฐF** โ perfect for evening swims and night parties when the air cools off. The water stays noticeably warmer overnight too, which makes a huge difference in comfort and how often we actually use the pool. The bubble design does an excellent job of trapping solar heat while reducing evaporation. Weโve cut our pool heater runtime dramatically โ the energy savings alone more than pay for the cover every season. **Highly recommend pairing it with the Intex Solar Cover Reel** (the adjustable one that goes from 9โ16 ft). The reel has been a game-changer for longevity. It makes rolling the cover on and off effortless, keeps it clean from leaves and debris, and prevents the usual rips, snags, and tears that destroy most solar blankets. With regular careful use and the reel, weโre easily getting **2 full seasons** (and sometimes more) out of each cover before UV exposure eventually takes its toll. Thatโs outstanding for an 8 mil blanket. Yes, all solar covers will eventually degrade from the sun โ thatโs just the nature of the material โ but the performance and cost savings are so good that I happily reorder every 2โ5 years without hesitation. If you have a rectangular above-ground or inground pool this size, do yourself a favor and get this cover + the reel combo. Youโll love how warm the water stays and how much less work (and money) pool maintenance becomes. Highly recommended! โญโญโญโญโญ (Weโve purchased this item twice โ once in 2021 and again recently โ and the quality has been consistent both times.)

Effective, could be better quality
We've bought a number of solar covers over the years for our above ground pool. This one is effective and works great, but the quality is a bit less than others we've purchased. When it came it was stuck together in multiple places, and tore some of the bubbles right off the bat. Will be surprised if it makes it through more than 2 summers.

Great Solar Cover for the Price! โ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
We have been very happy with this solar cover! It was easy to trim for a perfect fit and has helped keep our pool noticeably warmer, especially during cooler nights. It also helps keep leaves, bugs, and debris out of the water, which means less cleaning and more swimming. The cover is lightweight enough to handle but still feels durable. For the price, it has been a great addition to our pool setup. Highly recommend for anyone looking to maintain water temperature and reduce evaporation. โญโญโญโญโญ

Buyer beware complete garbage
So this is my new solar cover the pkg that was delivered looked good no visible issues with pkg, but when i pulled out of bag to install on pool it looks as if it was melted or left near a hot surface prior to shipping and bagging it up for sale. Very cheaply made as well i will look for a different one in the future beware as price is tempting but quality is lacking 7/5/26 Warranty says its normal wear and tear so if you want more the 4 months out of the cover, you might want to find somebody new because it's only been used for 4 months. It was vacuum sealed stored through the winter. I got it in October of last year. Used it for 2 months cleaned, put into a vacuum seal bag vacuum sealed. Put it out this year, and within a month, it completely has the laminated and disintegrated. The warranty response is basically. We don't cover anything. There has anything to do with the scene or delamination. Well, it's clearly delaminating and they said that they don't cover it, but they do, but they won't cover mine. Which makes no sense, do not use this company, and as you can see from the first free photos that's how it was when I received it. The last 3 photos, or after only 90 days of use, always taking care of stored properly straight garbage. They say, do not leave it exposed in direct sunlight, while it's a solar cover. The next sunlight is name of the game. And blamed the solar cover, from being exposed to the sunlight too long. For part of the problem, when I add pool chemicals to the pool, the solar cover does not get used for 2 days afterwards.I know how to take care of a pool cover. This is just a straight garbage pool cover

Excellent customer service from seller NYRS ,not the same from manufacturer Sun2Solar pool blanket
I have purchase a 20'X40' solar blanket from NYRS in March 2020 and started using it from May to Sept 2020 and for a similar period in 2021. The solar blanket was winterized inside my garage at all time during the winter periods. I started seeing degradation in the product when installed this past May 2022 (see pictures) the blanket was basically "disintegrating" and "falling apart" in numerous places. I contacted the seller NYRS (which is not the manufacturer) and explained the situation, after a few very cordial back and forth between ourselves and providing them with supporting information, they have resolved this issue to my entire satisfaction and definitely stood behind the products they sell. I would not hesitate to buy again from NYRS. Unfortunately I can't say the same from the manufacturer Sun2Solar. I have owned numerous pools (3) and solar blankets over my lifetime (40 years) and I have never experienced such a quick deterioration problem on any previous blankets I have owned over such a short period of time, in all, I have used the Sun2Solar blanket less than 11 months from May 2020 to date (5 months 2020 / 5 months 2021 and 1 month 2022) . I certainly hope this is an isolated incident from the manufacturer Sun2Solar. Patrick. L
