Received the item and everything looked fine, upon inflation I realised it had come with a hole in it. Spend a bit more and get something of higher quality

I would always say that a small portable pump is fast and easy for any inflatable and if you are going to wait until you are on holiday to use then worth putting a small hand or foot pump in the case as it’s so much easier and this chair is no exception as you need the seat to be firm. Slots together easily and arrives with you compressed tightly so always Check it before travelling.

Firstly, the way the manufacturers package this float leaves much to be desired.More importantly, this is a rather well though out swim float with a covered canopy which is suited for Arabian heat! There is a drinks cup on both sides, plenty of space, I can sit in it with my young daughter beside me. There is also a handy rigid handle on each side to help keep the user stable should the kids try to swing you around - very amusing for them from our experience!The canopy can be lowered if you choose to use it in an indoor pool and don't want to come across as a complete nutcase! We carry a portable mini air pump which we got from Amazon, in our luggage. It takes a matter of minutes to blow this us using that tool.A very unique and yet, elegant canopy water float.5 stars

This is not bad as a cheap adult pool play inflatable. It’s OK quality, but it’s just ‘bare plastic’ (i.e. not something with canvas covers and inflatable inserts). So, I would expect it to last a single season/single holiday before it gets punctured. Even so, at £25 it’s not bad value, as the addition of the canopy sun shade sets it apart. The canopy comes separately packed in its own ziplock bag. Keep this bag, you’ll need it! Inside the bag, the canopy is tightly coiled and held in place by the cords and hooks that are used to attach it to the seat. Beware! When you disconnect these, it springs open violently to its full size. Do not do this when you are near to a small child or anything fragile (e.g. your poolside cocktail glass). Packing the shade up again is a major challenge, involving twisting the frame and trying to trap it again with its own hooks. I tried many times and could not get it into a state where it would stay together by itself, so I ended up forcing it back into the ziplock bag where it now waits like a coiled snake ready to bite whoever next tries to remove it. Inflation of the chair is easy if you have a pump. The ‘sparkling lights’ are a bit of a disappointment about six small LEDs inside the main body of the chair, and they are not exactly spectacular. In any case if you are on holiday, most hotels don’t allow the use of the pool after dark.
