Not always reliable connection (android auto), but fairly easy install, reactive customer service and overall good value for the price, especially since there are very limited options.Big minus is that the wheel controls are not connected so I have to do everything on the screen.

Firstly, this does not work with Android phones or Android Auto vehicles. This device is Apple CarPlay and iOS only. If you’re shopping for an Android equivalent I would suggest this as an alternative - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CPNY8VZX (see my review for this).Setting up the device with the vehicle in the car is simple, you just plug this unit in and the head unit auto-detects and connects. You then connect your iPhone to the adapter via Bluetooth and it sets up from there. You will need to confirm the connection on your device screen the first time you connect but this hasn’t been a repeated requirement.The connection to the head unit is a little hit and miss, with the odd dropout of connection for some reason where the screen in the car just goes black (used in an MG ZS). Up to now, I’ve had a better experience with this than the Android adapter which uses a slightly different connection and pairing method. Keep in mind that connecting wirelessly will probably run your battery down on the iPhone quicker as there is constant communication with the head unit, especially when using Maps. I have found that my phone tends to get warm whilst using this method if I keep it in a pocket. This isn’t specifically a fault of this product but something to be aware of whilst connecting via this method.The unit itself is small and self-powered via the single USB-C connection interface. The cable is included, as is a USB-A to USB-C adapter making this both adaptable to all CarPlay enabled vehicles and somewhat future-proofs the device when you change your vehicle. I shall be popping a velcro strip on the underside so it can be hidden out of the way and as these are quite small it’s easily done.This little adapter is a great convenience for relatively short journeys, although longer road trips where power is needed to the phone, I’ll be using the cable option as you don’t gain anything from using a separate adapter.

Works really well. After plugging it in to one of the CarPlay USB ports, I paired it with my iPhone in the bluetooth settings and it connected. Now it connects every time I get into the car. It seems to work just well as with a direct wired CarPlay connection.It works reliably whether I'm using Tomtom or music, or whatever. I've had a few minor audio clicks, but I've had those with bluetooth before, so not necessarily anything to do with this device.Very happy with it. For longer journeys I still plug the phone in so it will charge, but for most journeys, this is perfect.I've only tried one phone with it, so I'm not sure how it works if you want to use two - whether you can toggle between the two, or whether you'd have to pair / unpair.

Sorry for the state of my car, I thought it was clean but obviously not, it is now though...This Camecho wireless carplay adaptor works well and connected to my iPhone seamlessly, only took a couple of minutes if that.But, you're car has to be carplay ready to use this device as all this does is wirelessly via bluetooth connect your phone to the cars infotainment system. Most new cars already have bluetooth enabled carplay.It is a bit on the big side though, in fact twice the size of my old careplay device and the green led is big and bright and distracting, so I have had to turn it over to hide the led.But besides the size it does everything it should do and without fault.If this was smaller and the green led smaller and less bright it would have gotten 5 stars.

This wireless CarPlay adapter is awesome! It connects to my car instantly, and the wireless connection makes using CarPlay so much easier. No more fumbling with cables – I just get in the car, and my phone connects automatically. It's fast, responsive, and has made driving a lot more enjoyable.
