I have purchased several of these lighted switch plate covers for single, double and triple toggle light switches. They ALL work very well. However, the single plate cover did not work on one of my light switches. I tried it on a different light switch and it works perfectly. I'm not sure if it's because the one I really wanted to use it on is at the bottom of the stairs and there is also a switch at the top of the stairs and they operate the same hall light or why? However, when I moved it to a location that operates only 1 light, and there are no other switches associated with that light, everything was fine. This was not the case for the 2 and 3 toggle switch plates. They work even though I have a similar situation in my great room. If you purchase one and think it's not working, you may want to try it on a differnt light switch like I did. I'm very pleased.

Got this to provide some light for a closet area. The installation was super simple and it works with no issues. The amount of light, IMHO, is incredibly subtle and ended up not being bright enough for me to get dressed in the dark.

I have about a dozen of the wall version of this lighted cover around my home. They work great, have excellent longevity, put out a lot light, look cool without being overwhelming and are helpful as floor level nightlights like a movie theater.This light switch cover is not as bright as the outlet version, even set on high. This Snap lighted switch cover has an “off/low/high” switch for the light output. The photo of the illuminated wall switch I included is a bit misleading, it’s not that bright in person.Be mindful of the brand of switch you have in the outlet box because certain Legrand wall switches won’t work because the switch terminals and the Snap cover terminals do not line up.See the photos for the terminal locations on a Legrand and a Leviton decor switch and you will see what I mean.Lutron and Leviton switch terminals do line up with the Snap cover. It can take a bit of switch location adjustment inside the wall outlet box to get the Snap connections to match up.Putting this cover on can be a 2 minute project or an hour or more if you have to change the switch out to one that matches the Snap terminals. Other installation gremlins can lurk as well, especially with older wiring.Hope this helps - Good luck!

These lighted faceplates are the Best you can buy. They may seem a little pricey but, they do last, and two settings for brightness. I wouldn't buy anything else if you are looking for light in a certain area,besides who wants to change the receptical just to light up a faceplate to have some light in the John in the Middle of the night.Ha! Easy install and they do come with the install tool, which is so simple to use. I will be buying more for sure as I go.Highly recommend

This product arrived on time, one of the panels did not function, another was sent out immediately. These are great because we can now have a soft light in our hallway to where we have no outlets. Very easy to install and work exactly as advertised.
