Compact/sleek exterior, small thin design. The UI on the app is clean and easy to navigate and use. Easy set up. The customization to provide context/grounding about yourself, projects, writing style makes this a flexible transcription tool that will give you back the transcript as well as templetized summaries in the format/style you want. Accurately outlines action items, topics risks missed etc. The clarity and battery life is fantastic. I've tested a few and by far this has been the best. Meetings with 6+ people are accurately transcribed allows for tagging voices. I worked late and forgot to switch it off Friday after work. Still was recording Sunday morning. This things is a beast. Cost definitely worth. Highly recommend.

As somebody with a visual impairment, the fact that this device has no screen doesn’t bother me. Nor does the price. I realize that some people may balk at the $79 per year asking price for the pro plan. As somebody who has historically had to rely on specialist devices for the blind that cost easily $500, even with that $79 per year plan, this thing is a bargain. While I am giving it five stars, there is something I should make note of. I have enough usable vision where I don’t necessarily need to use speech all the time. Thus, for my needs, the device app is more than adequate. However, for those that do use speech all the time, and might be considering this, I should warn you that the apps accessibility with the VoiceOver screen reader on the iPhone is passable, but you’ll need to sit down and learn it because not everything is labeled properly. Nor are you able to navigate your summary by headings. The mind map is an inaccessible image with no alt text. These are suggestions that I’ve passed along to the development team and since it’s on the software side, these things could be easily implemented overtime, so let’s hope that they get implemented. For those of you who are wondering if it is worth the cost? My personal belief is that it is because this way you will save wear and tear on your phone’s battery, you won’t have to worry about constantly monitoring your screen to make sure the phone doesn’t go to sleep, plus the ChatGPT transcription features are superior to what Apple Intelligence does, especially when it comes to the summary. The device itself is really awesome. It’s about the size of two credit cards and at the very top is a concave round button to the left of which is a vertically oriented two position switch. That two position switch is what will swap between regular note dictation mode and phone call dictation mode The button is utilized to start and stop recordings. Beyond that, everything else is done in the app. On the back, and you might need to find it, at the bottom, you will find an oval with four round circles in it. This is your charging port. To make things easier to find I would highly recommend putting it in the included leather case. Another really neat feature about the case is the fact that it can magnetically clip to the back of your phone using MagSafe. The battery in this thing is incredible and so far the summarization through chat, GPT has been fantastic. I plan to use this at a conference in a couple of months and I’ve already used it at a webinar for my work. I really hope the development continues on this because this is very promising. Keep up the good work. :-)

I don’t know how I got along without this administrative assistant! This little gem has helped increase my productivity at work. I can give my full attention to every meeting and know that I have the word for word or summary of every meeting I attend. In my job I get paid because of my strategic insight and forecasting abilities. This even has a brainstorming template where I can think out loud and play out all the different outcomes in my head and it will take all those ideas and make sense of it. And it doesn’t make me feel crazy for doing it! Even if your a bean counter you’ll never regret this purchase. It’s great for students to record classes. For behavioral health or teachers it has something for almost any profession. The battery lasts forever. And when ready to download it connects right to your phone or computer and has fast download and you can keep having different versions of the same notes. Depending on what you’re aiming to get out of the notes. I’d recommend ordering a second charging cable they aren’t like any other one and if you lose that you’re out of luck. It’s completely worth every penny.

I initially bought this for myself to record some staff meetings. However, when I realized I was not going to use it very much. I decided to gift it to my brother. I am really glad I did. Within a couple of weeks, he called me and told me that it is phenomenal to help him record and transcribe the many staff meetings he has to attend. He told me that the accuracy, will not perfect, is good enough. Also said that he appreciates that this device can be used for a certain amount of recording minutes without having to pay for a subscription, so currently he is using the free minutes, although how satisfied he is with the product, he said he will gladly pay for the subscription as needed, depending on how many minutes he needs to attend. In fact, he liked it so much he recommended it to his wife, who purchased one herself. He also likes the appearance, because it is discreet and allows you to place it on the desk where most people don’t even notice it. Personally, as good as it is, I think it should be either half the price, and force you to have a subscription, or more expensive and offer you more free minutes before you need to pay for a monthly subscription.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the PLAUD Note. The recorder itself is compact, easy to use, and the AI transcription and summaries work surprisingly well. It's become a valuable tool for meetings and keeping track of important conversations. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is the subscription requirement. I wish more of the AI features were included with the purchase instead of requiring an ongoing monthly fee. For a product at this price point, it would be nice to have more functionality available without a subscription. That said, it's still an excellent device, and if you don't mind the subscription costs, it does exactly what it's designed to do.

From love to hate. I've been using this and it's been good. Until this year. For the second time in a row it has lost the recording from a meeting. I have no way to redo the meeting and didn't take notes because I was using the Plaud. I checked it after the meeting and the notes were there. I transcribed them to a Meeting format to share with the participants. When I was looking for the file this morning it was gone. Plaud's AI assistant says "they understand my frustration," but I doubt they do. It is unreliable and if you count on it to record meetings find another way.

They invite you to get started in later you can build a team without telling you that whenever you bring a new team member and they have zero access to any of your work. What is the point of all this wonderful AI capability if everything it produces is locked inside a box? You can't grant any permission you have to manually transfer everything you have from your private library into the Team library one at a time no batch processing. You don't see that on this Amazon page but if you check else were they say that in the future they're going to allow you to merge your individual work with your team I get it that you need to keep some of your things private but any team collaboration model already allows for that you just simply check a box and say let these people see these things but not those things. I bought my first PLAUD over a year ago and I have been delighted with the physical capabilities of the hardware but quickly discovered they don't allow any batch processing other than moving files between your own folders and I have been begging them for ages to please allow batch processing. That simple feature would allow me to get around this whole problem of having to do every operation one by one on each session... Well not actually multiple times because you have to do multiple clicks for each individual aspect your own recording plus the AI transcript and then you have to do it differently if you want export the recording or the transcript or whatever into this format or that format you have to make all those selections every time for each individual one As an author I use it to just take little two or three minute verbal notes to myself throughout the day and over the last year I have about 3300 notes and I am not gonna do this manually for each individual one. So I can look at all my work but I can't do anything with it. I consider this to be false advertising this is not a collaborative process it is anti--cloud architecture

Ce qui m'a d'abord séduit, c'est sa taille incroyablement compacte, le rendant extrêmement pratique à transporter au quotidien. Mais la véritable surprise vient de la qualité des enregistrements vocaux. Même dans des environnements relativement bruyants, la clarté et la netteté du son sont impressionnantes. On entend parfaitement les voix, ce qui est essentiel pour une utilisation efficace. Enfin, je suis bluffé par la précision de la transcription. Le texte retranscrit est d'une exactitude remarquable, me faisant gagner un temps précieux. Je le recommande vivement!

Was excited to get this yesterday. It is compact then I imagined. Tried my first meeti g today and was amazing. For a person who does oine meeting this great on how it summarizes meeting. The magnetic case also is sleek and handy and sits well on my Ultra phone.

I was sceptical about this but I was wrong. Please note: I am an Android user and I reviewed it base on Android app only. I only did 9 recordings so far. But all the recording results are excellent. Ten things I like about it. 1. It transcript everything for me and quite accurate as well, saved me so much time from typing while interviewing people or listening to lectures. 2. It gives good summary, although not always accurate but I did say 95% correct for my use. 3. It is very small! So small that I think nobody will see it if you put it behind your phone and place the phone on the meeting table. 4. You can record it without opening the app from your phone. Make it much faster to record and much more discreet. 5. The UI is super simple to use. 6. Easy to set up 7. The battery is pretty long 8. It came with a pouch! 9. It also understood people accent well as well. which is awesome. 10. 3months free Pro plan to explore what Pro features may have. Things I wish they can improve on. 1. Make the "Device" tab as a part of the navigation menu. It is a bit hard to check the device battery when you need to click 3 times deep inside the menu. 2. I wish the first tab alway set to be Transcript as you need to transcript first before you can Summarise the voice recording. Make it one extra click which is unnecessary. 3. I wish it has usb-c or something common so I can charge it when I forget to bring the charger cable. But again... it's so thin that I think the thickness of the device is only about 2mm taller than the usb-c itself! That is incredibly thin! 4. I wish it can act as a usb drive. 5. Pro plan is a little high. The discounted price (50%) is a lot more affordable. All in all, I am very happy about it so far. I saved me literally hours of typing. This review is too long to type in comparison.

Great tool for taking minutes and summarizing the salient points. Worth checking it out!
