I bought these to teach different kinds of angles and how to measure angles. You get a lot in the kit for a reasonable price which makes it a nice value. The pieces easily connect to make different angles and can be measured with the two included protractors. Great homeschool learning manipulative.

As a former math teacher, I am always looking for ways to teach different math concept that children can have a tough time understanding. My daughter academic strength is not math and she struggles with the more abstract concepts so this AngLegs Starter set was prefect for her to see more concretely the angle measurements and how they all 'fit' together. I've never used one of these sets before so it took me a few minutes of fiddling around to figure out how to put it together and how to use each item. I think it would be great to use to teach different types of triangles and various other shapes. Overall I think it's a great starter set to teach various geometric shapes and angles, but I wished that it would come with some directions.
