It's a great addition to my bird feeder! Easy install!

The perch and suet ball holder looks fine from afar. Closeup, you can see the creases made from the print job, which equates to accumulations of dirt and grime. It fits well on my bird buddy and keeps some of the seeds from falling off. I get a lot of scrub jays and they are really messy eaters so this helps a bit.

Works perfect with my Bird Buddy. Easy to attach. Was hoping the birds would use the perch more, but they still like to stand in the seed 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is a larger holder for standard suet balls. Well-made and seems to be holding up nicely.

Bought this for our Bird Buddy feeder. I was concerned that the suet ball holder would be too small and difficult to open. The suet balls bought at Amazon from t with room to spare and the birds are easily pecking thru to the suet. The extended perch and suet holder are made of durable plastic and were easy to attach. Overall a great product

This product is priced lower than what BirdBuddy charges for the sphere alone. Having just mounted it, I have some lingering questions, but I’ll share what I know.The product is clearly 3D printed, which isn’t a problem per se, short of a couple of concerns. One is that there were a lot of residual fine, hairlike fibers that I had to painstakingly remove because who the heck knows what kind of plastic it is and what it will do to a bird. To that end, the material chosen will determine how well it stands up to sunlight. Presumably the original manufacturer accounts for such things; with aftermarket suppliers, it’s an open question.It’s reasonably simple to install, though there should be instructions (requiring buyers to go back to the Amazon listing is a shortcut I don’t care for). To that end, the photos warn that an Allen wrench isn’t included, but that’s sure to be a problem for some buyers. Kimalab could have provided Phillips-head screws rather than the 3-mm hex-key screws, or included a complimentary Allen wrench, as we’ve all seen countless times with products purchased online.Final question is if a screw-top design is the right one for this sphere; the threads are fine and extremely shallow. I imagine suet will get in there and complicate things, but that’s merely conjecture at this stage. So far the perch and sphere have scared away our regular diners, but I’m sure they’ll reacclimate and return, and with luck the suet will attract others.

Very nice suet ball - seems like better quality than the original (that the squirrels chewed up). Simple installation with an included screw - we’ll see how it holds up. Don’t hesitate to give it a try - great value!!
