The media could not be loaded.  This item works well with with my new MBP 2021. It also allows me to switch to my personal machine which uses a mini display port rather than removing cables behind my monitor. I’ll let the video do all the talking and I hope this helps someone with a future purchase. I ordered this for my Mac having tried the cheaper Atolla (A2?) that required you to permanently disable System Integrity Protection to install the drivers and work. Although it did work, it's crazy to open a system up like that so I returned it, turned SIP back on and ordered this.It arrived quickly and worked straight away, with no drivers required. So it's a no-brainer for a few pounds more.

Arrived on time. Felt great and looked easy to use but I ordered the wrong thing for my 2012 MacBook Air as the connection point into Mac slightly too big. I had a message from the sellers’ customer service so contacted them with my issue and they came back with some really helpful, detailed advice as to what to search for for the model I have. Was much appreciated.

Worked straight out of the box with an Apple 27” LED Cinema Display with Mini Display Port connector and a 14” M1 MacBook Pro.Really pleased with picture quality, as old Dell monitor that used VGA and HDMI adaptors was not as good. Great value too, although you can buy cheaper.

Looks a solid and well made item, however the metal casing get uncomfortably hot quickly and red hot - too hot to handle within ten minutesIt’s going back as nothing unshielded should get that hot.

I bought this adapter for my mac book air, so I can cable straight in to the ethernet cable at work. Works perfect with no issues Connections stayed strong for the whole day.

Nice looking piece of kit, small, light and looks well made.Works well, although l haven’t confirmed that it can deliver the promised transfer rates.Only negative is that it gets hot, was quite surprised how hot!! You can hold it still but it’s hot.

Excelente calidad y vista. Lo uso con una Macbook Air M1 y ha funcionado muy bien con todo tipo de proyectores.

I've read another review where someone had the same issue as me. Maybe it's a faulty batch, but the Minidisplay port doesn't even plug in all the way. It doesn't work at all. Waste of time and money.
