Angel Sanctuary (Enhanced Edition)

If you haven't read the manga: watch this first. If you have read the manga: WATCH THIS NOW. The art work is so beautiful and really follows Kaori Yuki-sama's artwork so well. Be prepared, there will be joy, sexy times, and (because it's Yuki-sama) UNIMAGINABLE SADNESS. But, it leads to a deeper understanding of the series and it's lore.

Good story but only 3 episode. I do not know what happen after that. Youtube has these episode as well.

I've now seen this beautiful piece of anime & it's artwork, and I must say it was everything it promised to be ... Yuki Kaori is definitely an amazing artist and a genius, as well. Bought the VHS at Suncoast for 19.99 and worth every cent. I wouldn't reccommend it to Christian's or people of strong faith since it questions God and plays upon fantasy about angels and demons. But if you don't mind it, it is an interesting and thought provoking if not somewhat morose anime. I almost cried at several points - at first it seemed corny and a little weird. I read a review saying the music was 'amazing'. I wasn't really impressed with the music but I played the tape two more times and the music and storyline really started to grow on me. This anime is worth seeing more than once. In fact, it takes at least three viewings for you to fully appreciate it for it's originality and seemless animation. Be Forewarned: It will make you hungry to read the manga!

I Thought It Was A Great Story Line Where Angels Fight And Demons Get In There Somwat Too. setsuna Falls Inlove With His Sister When He Was Younge And After Saving Her He Kisses Her And His Mom Yells At Him And His Sister Hears Runs Out And Well You gtta Buy The Movie To Know Sorry. Its An Awsome Movie For All You Anime Lovers And People Who Dont Like Anime. Cant Wait Till The Next Episodes Come Out. You Will Be Disapointed At The End. Stops Right When Somthing Very Big Was Gonna Happen. Aww Well If You Really Wanna Buy Anything Buy This Movie. So Cool. And Cheack Up On It To See If The Second Tape Is Out. When I watched this movie, I totally felt for the characters (although I was somewhat offended by the incestuous content). However, it is a wonderful love story with great supporting characters. I've been wanting to read the manga series that it is based on but haven't been able to find it anywhere. Anyway, this was a really great episode and they should come out with many more!

The animation is spectacular, and the story is raw and focused. I truly wish the OAV dealt with the entire story line of the manga, but even still, this is an amazing work of art. Very enjoyable from beginning to end.

This is one of the most amazing Animes ever, the story is great and very deep. I really can't wait till the sequal arrives in America...if ever....otherwise I will have to go to Japan and get it myself! It's just that good! The soundrack is breathtakeing as well!Lady of Fire LEXi

Als ich die DVD bestellt habe, hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass ich beim Ansehen wieder so in die Handlung eintauchen kann wie damals, als die Folgen im TV ausgestrahlt wurden. Das ist mittlerweile ja schon einige Jahre her. Da ich auch die Mangaserie gelesen habe, hatte ich die Charaktere natürlich noch gut im Gedächtnis und ich finde die animationstechnische Umsetzung nach wie vor sehr gut! Ich finde es immer noch schade, dass nicht die ganze Serie animiert wurde, aber trotz allem eine definitive Kaufempfehlung für alle, die die Serie von "damals" kennen!!! :-)

Ein tolles Produkt und eine schnelle Lieferung.Habe den Anime damals auf VIVA verfolgt und dieser ist immer noch genau so schön anzusehen wie in alten Zeiten!Der Preis ist vielleicht etwas hoch, bei Anime Veröffentlichungen aber völlig normal. Ist halt immer noch eine Nischensparte. Als Extras gibt es eine Postkarte und ein Poster mit schicken Motiven der Manga Reihe.Für Fans der Serie, ob Manga oder Anime, ein Pflichtkauf.

Kultstatus. Freue mich. Preis absolut okay.
