MOOZICA EQX-Series Chromatic Kalimba, 36-Key Thumb Piano With Piezo Pickup, Double Layer Electric Kalimba With Chorus and Delay

I own a silly amount of music gear and pleasant surprised by this - I have chromatic one. Good quality items - excellent for the price - would have been great if it had quality reverb in it

A remarkable kalimba. The manufacturers have given me to understand that you shouldn't ever need to tune it, but provide allen keys in case you do. (?) Certain other makes of chromatic kalimba in this (very reasonable) price range are notorious for needing frequent re-tuning, so this make is the better choice. It is quietish when unplugged so as not to bother the neighbours. You can connect a speaker for a louder sound, or headphones for privacy. I think it has a good, mellow sound, and is good throughout it's range, no tinny-ness in the higher notes. (It is designed that way.) I can't comment on the electronic features like reverb, I haven't tried them yet. Moosica also sell this kalimba in a non-electronic version, by the way. This is a chromatic kalimba, meaning it can play half-notes, that is, sharps/flats. It is tuned in C, but also has four "base" notes below middle C so you can play tunes that need you to go lower. So in terms of the "whole " notes it is like a 21-key kalimba rather than a 17-key one, with the "base" notes logically arranged alongside all the other 17 whole notes, not stuck up on the upper level with the sharps/flats, as you sometimes find in other makes. This means that, effectively, all the appropriate sharps and flats are there, none are sacrificed for lack of space. Being tuned in C means that it is easy to find popular tunes arranged for kalimbas, be they 8, 10, 17 or 21-key instruments. You can play them all on this. Being chromatic (having sharp/flats) means that you can also play tunes which aren't in the key of C. Just like you could on a small piano-style keyboard where the sharps or flats are the black keys and you are only using your right hand. Useful for someone like me, who wants to play tunes that no-one has arranged for kalimba, but who has no more understanding of music theory than I have of particle physics. Plink away folks, this kalimba is easy to play, comfortable to hold, sounds mellow and really looks great.

Fully Chromatic With Singing Bowl Sound Quality. The makers know about sound and resonance. I haven't started looping yet, but the mind boggles at the possibilities. Fully, chromatic, with echo and reverb that you can plug into any speaker or amplifier

Just perfect. Used it at a performance and it sounded so gorgeous. The tuning can be adjusted with supplied hammer

The B Tine on the Kalimba is so slack it will not stay in tune. I am a disabled pensioner and cannot afford to pay out this large amount of money for something that is unfit for purpose I have had to order an even more expensive one from you now

Bellissima Kalimba, la possibilità di suonare in cuffia con l'amplificazione e gli effetti è un valore aggiunto notevole, senza disturbare nessuno. Anche la rifinitura lucida è molto bella e la sua custodia rigida permette di tenerla sempre protetta. Ora non mi resta che imparare a suonarla 😁

ずっと迷っててプライム感謝DAYで思わずポチってしまいました。10月19日の夜中注文で本日22日20時50分届きました😃一度発送遅れますメール✉️いただきましたが予定通り来ました。配送の方遅くまでありがとうございました🙏 ケースはしっかりしていてキズもなく木目も綺麗です⭐️早速生弾き🎹キーは若干高めと説明書にある通り一部若干下げました👍音はきれいでサスティーンも良いです🙆キーも硬くなく私好み⭕️何年か前に購入したBluetoothスピーカーのAUXにコードを！スピーカーに繋ぐコードが付属されてないのが少し残念😢たまたま他に使う予定で購入していたコードが使えてラッキー✌️コーラス最高🙌エコー大好きなんです😄カリンバ歴8ヶ月くらいかな？よく響いてくれて少し上達したような感じがして嬉しい😂 seedsがお気に入りでしたが最近スミヤカさんの黒猫ちゃんも購入してますが、また素敵なカリンバに出会えて感謝感謝🙏 箱に伝票直貼りを心配してましたがどなたかのレビューにあった様にちゃんとダンボールに入れてくれてます😊moozicaさんの心配りでしょうね👍音階シールは無いです。刻印割と大きいので助かります（老眼）説明書に付属のレンチと書いてありますが付属していませんでした。まあ、使う事はないでしょう。 ピアノラッカーもっとテカテカしてるかと思ってましたが思ったよりテカってないです。がっかりしましたが、でもこれもなかなか良い感じです😉重いですが重さを感じさせないくらい素敵です♪ありがとうございました♬
