No soy soldador, he tenido varios inconvenientes al manipular el equipo pero no ha sido por mal funcionamiento del equipo si no por mi inexperiencia, 1 por apretar mucho el carrete o boina de alambre y el otro por que puse el rodillo de 1.0 mm al alambre flux core de 0.8 mm, al soldar era intermitente como soldando por puntos. He contactado muchas veces al fabricante por WhatsApp y siempre he tenido respuesta a mis preguntas, lo he utilizado en Mig y Mma y va muy bien. 👍👍👍👍👍.

Not working out of the box will contact reboot welder. Well days later Amazon says it's covered under warranty but I have to contact the seller and the seller says Amazon is in charge because they are handling the shipping. So I'm in a back and forth circle. I could understand if I wanted a refund for the welder but I just want it fixed or replace it . Now I think I will no longer be doing business with Amazon and suggest staying clear of reboot USA welding equipment. 90 days and it's junk out of the box what a disgrace on Amazon's part for not protecting their customers.

I wanted a smaller, more portable multi-process welder and this one checked all of the boxes. The case is lighter gauge metal but is also about on-half the size and weight of other welders that I own. The cables are good quality but not heavy duty.

I'm really on a fence whether to keep it. I've measured the actual current with a DC clamp meter in MMA mode with 5/32 6013 electrodes with 240V input:- Set 250A, measured 150A. Measured input: 240V, 30A, so 7200W (not expected 9600W).- Set 200A, measured 120A.So it looks like real amps can be predicted by multiplying by 3/5.Other than that, I like the machine. The arc was pretty easy to strike for 5/32 electrode. MIG (flux 0.8) is pretty good and consistent. Haven't tried solid core or TIG.

I got it toady then set up and tried to be welding. It works with 3/32 E7018 Rods very well. I Have uesd another brands welder before that they does not work with E7018 rods very well. Reboot Mig 250 works very well with E 7018 E6011 as my testing. It works with the J422 Rods very much smooth and continually.

I'm only giving it 2 stars because how quickly it showed up. I was kinda skeptical that this welder would perform as advertised and when I received it the mig gun wouldn't work so I talked to Amazons chat and when they said to return it they said I was only going to receive $219 of the $288 I had paid. This welder came with a regulator and a tig gun. All on one order. For some reason Amazon saw it as three orders. So I called in and could not accomplish anything since the person I spoke with wasn't understanding I made just one order, not 3 and since they barely spoke english it made it next to impossible. So I was hesitant on returning it since I was going to return all 3 pieces not needing the regulator or tig gun with no welder so I tried the welder again and magically it came to life. I went and leased a tank of gas for it and here's where the first problem lies, the regulator they sent doesn't match up to the female end of a standard tank of argon so I had ordered a piece that would fit it but it was going to be at least 2 weeks before it showed up so I just ordered a regulator off Amazon. The welder comes with a "gas hose", I say that sarcastically as it's just a cheap clear rubber hose with hose clamps to attach it. Well the regulator I ordered came with a real gas line but disappointingly you cannot attach it to the welder since the inlet on the welder is of the hose clamp variety and you can't change it as it's attached to a motor or pressure regulator inside the welder so you have to use the cheap hose that comes with it and it leaks no matter how tight you put the hose clamps on. As for welding it seemed to do a decent enough job with .035 wire on some exhaust tubing I had laying around. I was satisfied though happy that it had started working. I shut it down and then didn't touch it for a week or so. I went to fire it up and wouldn't you know the gun doesn't work again, it doesn't even pull gas from the tank nor will it feed wire. I'm an experienced welder and went through every setting multiple times to no avail. If the welder worked it would be well worth the money but with the cheap gas hose and hose hookups along with the mig gun not working it's simply not worth the headache especially since Amazon doesn't even see it as one order making a return sketchy. Do yourself a favor and pony up for a quality name brand welder.
