Cheap, basic unit with a reasonable force
Well I got 2 of these as my linked ones packed up. So, these are basic switch on and leave. Their power is good for blowing down the back of the aquarium which is where I have them. My only problem is the suction mount gimbal. It's really designed to go at maybe a 30 to 45 degree angle so pumps horizontally and around that axis. So it cannot point strait down or up. I took the mount off and jammed it in the rocks. The removable basket is quite flimsy and is only locked on by a few mm and not tight so it came off several times as I was placing it. Overall for the price it's good enough. It would not be any good as my main wavemakers though as not enough power. I have a 350ltr tank.

Got d value for money
There is a bit of a ‘clunk’ noise each time it is switched on, otherwise it is a a good pump!

Has massively improved the water quality in my tank.
In the 6 months of tank ownership i've never been happy with the water quality of my tank. My in tank filter does its best but relies on regular maintenance. I've also lost several fish in the period. when I started monitoring water quality i noticed that i had high nitrogen levels so was forever changing water and vacuuming the gravel.Things came to a head after i lost two wonderful fish, i think the kids had overfed them and a lot of uneaten food was evident on the tank bottom.I did a bit of research and decided I needed a wave maker to increase water circulation.i did a bit of umming and ahhing over which model I still unsure if the one I have may be a bit of overkill but it certainly does exactly what i wanted it to do.It sits nicely in the top corner of my tank and created a fantastic current right through. When i installed it the impact was immediate and drastic. a lot of detritus from the bottom of the tank immediately began to circulate, large bits of fish poo were on the move as well as uneaten food.I was initially worried that it would not filter as the flow seemed so strong that it was flowing past the filter inlet. However the effect was to break it up into fine particles, this eventually had to pass into the filter and as a result i have a nice clean tank bottom, crystal clear water and the fish appear to love swimming against the current and joining it at the outlet before being catapulted across the tank.one thing i would advise is to turn the filter off when you add food, the pump will have it whizzing about the tank like a fish version of the crystal dome and you will see waste blown straight into the filter. And i've also seen it sucking rather than blowing after I disassembled to clean, a quick unplug and plug sorted it.Overall its very quiet, and an excellent product. My tank is 160 liters and i bought the WM 2500 model.

Power is not a question although the noise!!!
It arrived fast and sound. When installed I have not noticed any issue with the suction caps, or with proper wiring, the quality seems reasonable for the price. My issue came only when I connected it to the power It was quite loud although first time I did not even noticed as lot of other stuff was on - tv, kids running up and down chatting, music from the kitchen etc. - , I left it on for roughly 5hrs, definitely not more, and just before we went to bed I checked the fish, and found one dead. I thought about nothing bad at the first time, but just for safety I switched the wave generator off for the night. Morning I found 2 additional dead fish in the tank. I called one of my friend who has min 20 years experience, and when I talked him about the issue, he said it is quite sure it was related to noise and stress. The generator not missing the force to move a lot of water, but it generates loud noise as well. Careful, if you think your fish can be sensitive for noise.

Didn't realise the benefits of these until I saw a video online about them
I've been keeping fish for many years and currently have a 350l tank full of Malawi Cichlids. I run an external filter (Fluval FX5) with the inlet low on one side of the tank and the outlet high on the other end. So there's a constant flow, in theory, across the tank to ensure water is always moving and debris gets washed towards the inlet. However, there are dead spots in the tank and I noted that the area directly below the outlet would have more fish waste gathering than elsewhere in the tank. So I installed one of these wave makers near the bottom below the outlet, pointing across the back of the tank towards the inlet. Now I dont get anywhere near as much debris on the bottom of the tank as I did. The fish seem to like it too and I'm told they benefit from having a flow in the water. They can also be used to point at the surface of the water to "make waves" literally, which helps with the oxygenation of the water, but with my external filter outlet and a couple of air stones in the tank, the surface water is always being moved.
