not solid, not comfortable
I find those way too flexible for a piece that is supposed to prevent my wrist from snapping in two when falling.Adjustment isn't optimal nor comfortable either. The plastic is actually so soft that after just pushing my hand on the concrete while standing up, I could see deep grooves that had been cut in the palms, and the guard looked like it had been in use for years (all scraped up).

Solid wrist protection, but they are pretty big
These are great. Perfect for beginning to snowboard, they really saved my wrists! They're a little flexible, but still solid enough keep my wrists from bending too far. Although, even over my thick gloves, when they're tightened as far as they go, they're still not super tight on my wrists...but I have tiny baby bird bone wrists (exactly why I needed these)! If you have really small wrists and are NOT wearing very thick gloves, they'll be too big.

Inconvenient and bulky.
I purchased these wrist guards for snowboarding. The description says they can be used both inside or outside the gloves, They are quite bulky so to be used on the inside of the glove, you would probably need to buy bigger gloves. I haven't tried them on the outside of the glove but that just seems quite inconvenient to be taking on and off all the time.

Good, but there are better. Good price.
Good wrist guards. I bought two of these. Better than Triple 8’s, not near as good as Flexmeter. If you are over 40, you need to invest in better equipment than this.

Good protection for snowboarding, but slightly impractical to use your hands
If you're only interested in spending some time in the slopes (or whatever you're doing with them) and protect your wrists, this will do the trick! These wrists guards have two pieces of some kind of "plastic-like" material (don't remember what they're really made of), and you use straps to wrap them around your wrist. It's a little hard to fit the gloves inside of them, but you can do it.The disadvantage you have versus more compact wrists guards that could go under your gloves is that if you want to take your hand out, e.g. to use your cell phone, it takes a lot of time/effort, but the other ones might not provide the same level of protection.

No more scrapes
They paid for themselves the first time I used it. No more busted wrist with these, and no more abrasions.
