They came in a nice corrugated cardboard display box (I did end up tearing it when I opened it, but that's a me problem) and are heavy-duty felt with a slightly stiff backing that is a little rough to help it grip the desk. I haven't had any sliding issues so far.They've done extremely well! I tested it with a large cold cup of soda full of ice and it absorbed all of the sweat from the cup with no problem. The coasters are made of a dense felt but are bendable. I love the unusual shape and the color. They don’t slip on the table and absorb condensation completely. The cell phone shaped coaster is a nice bonus. It’ll prevent the phone from leaving scratches on my end table. I think these would make a nice housewarming gift or stocking stuffer.
