Nice warmer
We ended up not needing this so I returned it but we did put water in the well to ensure it worked before the event. It seemed to warm up fairly quickly and keep warm. I never used it but I believe it would work great to keep food warm

Excellent for anyone who entertains
This buffet server made me look like a professional chef for my Thanksgiving dinner. The food stayed hot and not over cooked. The unit heated up fast with adding water. Clean up was super easy. The stainless steel and the quality of the equipment was superior. I will be ordering another one and using this again and again.

Getting what you paid for
We’ve bought two of these steam wells now. Both times the heating elements burn out within about six months or so (works great up until then). It’s well built, it’s easy to clean at the end of the night, and the dial isn’t complicated. Just doesn’t seem to handle a 12+ hour day in the kitchen long term.
