excellent all rounder
Much nicer than i thought. Its slightly chunky being a dive watch and does contain some heft. I purchased this warch with plans to darken the stainless as im not a flashy watch person. So mine is now a dark gray. The bands that come with are nice enough and serve their purpose just fine but i changed them out for a frech paratrooper style elastic bracelet type. Its a true mechanical movement and keeps excellent time ive found the lume is super cool and despite what people said about it not lasting ive noticed it stays plenty bright if your eyes have adjusted to the dark and it lasts much longer than others have said. Theres no hour numbers so if you need a moment to glance at your watch you may not get the time immediately but thats no big deal. Looks very cool, feels robust enough for daily use or as a mechanical replacement to your daily watch. Being a cheaper automatic the flywheel does prodice some noise if it manages to free spin but it is very functional. I love it. Got it on spring sale for $90. Would buy again but i wish they made a proper black version. Its a bit flashy without darkening the case.

Distinctive and great value
I am very pleased, great value with a distinctive internal bezel and brite tri-color lum. I’ve worn it more or less every other day since I got it, which the power reserve covers and it keeps time well so far. The second ticks are very quiet. The self winding mechanism spins audibly with some gestures, I suppose that’s a weakness, but I like the reminder that it’s an automatic. The band is long enough to wear over a wetsuit, it mostly stays put. The date window would benefit from magnifier (or maybe I should put my readers on).

Best value for price range & AMAZING LUME
Became a Berny fan after this one. THE LUME IS AMAZING. Personally, after comparing it to other watches and even bigger name brands in this price range, I think the overall quality and design philosophy are excellent. This is not a homage or a cheap watch. It uses quality materials and offers a fresh take inspired by 80s to 90s compressor style diver watches. I went for the blue dial cause its a very versatile color choice and it's an amazing color contrast with the orange on the bezel. The dial size is medium and fits most wrists, the band is a little longer due to ("divers" who would be wearing them on their wrist with a wet suit on...) but well sized. The Berny name throws some people off, but I actually like it, it's a great reference to Bern, Switzerland, the capital of the watch world. As someone who enjoys watch history, I think it is a cool and thoughtful touch. Comfort on the wrist is phenomenal. The integrated silicone band gives it a clean, smooth look and it is textured nicely. It does not feel like a random strap thrown on. It curves naturally around the wrist and wears very well. The watch feels slightly heavier than a Casio Duro, which I personally like. The accuracy is one of my favorite parts instead of using a cheaper movement they chose to use a workhorse movement the Miyota 8215 or possibly the 8205. On the topic of the movement if this is your first automatic it will be even better because instead of just a plain stainless steel back they have a sapphire crystal exhibition case back and to some its not that interesting but to me its been a couple months since I got it but I still stare at the movement for an extended period, its just so amazing how its like a beating heart on your wrist (hackable seconds btw). The additional date complication under the positional 3 on the face is subtle and well placed that is perfectly sized to not catch your eye every time you look at the dial but only during the times you actually need it. The watch uses 316L stainless steel which is an industry standard and not only that instead of what most brands do they decided to use sapphire crystal on both the front AND back so the durability of the watch is even stronger. I love the dive bezel in the case cause sure you have to unscrew the screw down crown to use it it keeps the watch looking a lot cleaner. Always screw the crowns back in you don't want to let water in that way. The packaging is also amazing nice box with a pillow for the watch. I like keeping it in there when I don't have it on my wrist its like an included watch display lol also partly because I am out of space in my watch box. You are getting a reliable brand, a workhorse movement, sapphire crystal front and back, an exhibition case back, around a 40 hour power reserve, screw down crowns, and better multi color lume than even some luxury watches. Most importantly, it is a NEW design, not the same recycled look you see everywhere else on Amazon. This is a watch that can last for years, even decades, if treated well. If your on the edge of getting this watch wait for a sale. It is absolutely worth it. In my collection, even more expensive watches do not beat the 3 COLOR LUME not only that IT IS BRIGHT and not just for a couple minutes the LUME LASTS HOURS in daylight it easily lasts for 5-7 hours in the dark. Update (July 2026): About a year later and still getting heavy wrist time—including taking it all the way to Bern, Switzerland this summer. Thought it was only right to film a quick wrist check with the city's famous Berner Münster tower in the background. After a full year of travel and daily wear, the sapphire is still flawless, the movement is rock solid, and that lume still punches way above its price class. Still an absolute 10/10. One of my all-time favorite watches, offering specs most brands charge +$500 for. Many forget BERNY isn't just a random brand that popped up overnight. They have over 30 years of experience, starting back in 1995 as a contract manufacturer building watch parts and cases for other major global brands. Honestly, after seeing how well this one has held up, I'm genuinely so impressed I'm looking at grabbing one of their titanium models next.

A very nice and prestigious looking watch that keeps darned accurate time.
Well, When I'd first received this watch, I was well impressed. It's solid, HEAVY and has an expected very nice appearance. The screw-in-out crowns are a nice touch and are bold enough to deal with. Not like some really smaller crowns that I can barely get my fingertips on. The fit is nice although the band, even with my larger wrists, seems a bit on the long side. Not the end of the world there. I like the movement of the second hand. Notchy but real fine toothed. Now, here's a couple of issues. First, the comments about the "glow" lasting for HOURS are a bit off, at least in my circumstances. I've placed some rather bright light on directly on the face of that watch for at least a good 5-10 minutes. Then I'd head outdoors in the dark and yes, it was really impressive on how well the specific components lit up in the dark. But that "glow" didn't last all that long. Within 10-20 minutes, it was negligeable and almost non readable. Now, since I'm not a military operative that does lots of night missions and would rely on the lasting of the glowing for long night hours, It's not the end of the world. I was kind-a led to believe it would last longer than it does. The second issue I have is the "automatic" winding. The first day I wore it, I took it off for bed time and, it was dead in the morning (around 07:30 or so) and I thought for sure I'd wound it (moved that little swinging pendulum) many, many times prior to going to bed. It had died at least an hour before we got up the next morning. The watch is a prestigious looking watch and in the limited time I've used it up to this point, about 5 days or so, it seems to keep pretty accurate time, based on me keeping it WOUND up enough. I'm still on the fence because I've had battery watches for decades and for the most part, have never had any issue with battery watches so this "winding" thing to me, is well, I'm just not sure. I do like the watch even with a couple of items I'm not that agreeable with.

Attractive, functional, good value
An attractive watch with nice features. Four and a half stars. Pro: This keeps reasonable time even though I take it off every night and is currently running about 5 seconds fast after two days (it has varied from a few seconds to two and half minutes in a similar time frame but generally runs within 10-15 seconds day to day). The time and date can be set with relative ease, and the second screw allows for precise bezel movement. The lume on the bezel portion and on the numbers is quite good. Con: Unfortunately, the lume does not extend to the hands and with my eyes (on the older side) I cannot tell the time at night (with glasses on). The original band, though comfortable, came undone from time to time so I replaced it with something a little more stylish and secure. Overall: This is probably worth the money given the price of automatics, in that it is an attractive watch that performs well (enough). If you have not owned an automatic (self-winding) watch and like the idea of freedom from batteries, this is a good one to start with.

Worth the price
It's a nice fairly well made "tool watch" with unique looks and a bit of charm. A reasonable price for an automatic sports watch, can easily handle swimming, showering and the like. I can not speak to long term duribility but appears up to the task

Way to small.
Watch looks great But its way to small in diameter for me.For a dive watch it should be atleast 50mm. Guess I should have read description closer...Other than that I like it..If you like the bigger diameter watch, this isnt it...

More impressive than the price would have you think.
Ok I’ve had it for about 5 hours and I love this watch so much. Became a bit of an enthusiast this year and of the microbrands I’ve tried out, this Berny is top of the list. Fits great, the lume is insane and the sweeping second hand movement looks so cool. At this price, you’d be nuts not to try.

Stark magnetisiert angeliefert.
Die Uhr kam sehr stark magnetisiert angeliefert. Dementsprechend lief sie 19 Sekunden vor in 24std. Nach dem entmagnetisieren läuft sie nun sehr anständig ca. 4-6 Sekunden vor auf 24std. Beat-Error 0,1.

Superb Build and looks great.
I cant believe the price, for the money this is an excellent watch - its good looking with an integral time elapse ring operated by the top button. Both crowns are screw down so def waterproof for most peoples use. It's very visible in the dark thanks to the Lume they used. The mechanical movement is by Myota who are a division of Citizen and my watch lost 6 seconds in 24 hours which is well inside spec and very close to watches costing thousands. I'd def buy again.
