Great for Trigger Finger
Very effective finger splints for trigger finger. I love that there are multiple sizes so I could find the right fit, plus I have the others in case I need them for other fingers in the future. They are high quality plastic, sturdy, and lightweight, with no rough edges. Once I got used to it, it was actually quite comfortable. After wearing for about two months, the minor case of trigger finger I had developed was gone.

works well
This is the second time in 5 years that I have jammed a finger and popped the tendon. So I know I need to keep the finger in a splint 24x7 for 6 to 8 weeks and not allow the knuckle to bend at all. This is one of the more comfortable splints that I have used, and is the only one so far that fits inside a winter glove. I did add a wrap of athletic tape to ensure it didn't slip off when removing the glove. No issue at night so far with it coming off. Easy to fit with the range of sizes in the main pack, I did order more of the particular size that fit my finger.

Works well, but check the size
I appreciate this style, I juist needed them to be smaller - these could fit a large man's hand. All in all, they are comfortable, lightweight and easy to use.

Need a Joint…Fixed? This May Not Be the Answer.
I’m sure these would fit well on someone but just not me. My mallet finger was just too bent for these to work for me. The shape is good for protecting a joint but not fixing it.

Comfort in Healing
These Oval 8 splints are fantastic. They are of durable quality and the sizing is perfect. I have an injured thumb and have tried thumb immobilizing braces, Velcro wraps, splints and Koban. All of those products, although immobilize the thumb, have been cumbersome. The Oval 8 can get wet, is easily removable when needed, and allows me to use my hand more freely than the above-mentioned alternatives. These Oval 8's also fit most of my other fingers, so if I happen to injure them at some time, I will already have what I will need to heal. A great product at a great price

Have Trigger Finger Again!!!! Buy the Variety Pack!
I hurt my hand again somehow! I woke up with trigger finger three weeks ago. You will know it and it is usually not serious (my doctor says he sees it at least once a month). When you bend your finger it "CLICKS" like a hammer on a pistol, hence the term trigger finger. The tendon running up the finger gets an injury and a slight swelling. So, when you move your finger, the little lump gets caught on a "pully" that keeps the tendon inline. I had this years ago with my thumb and you just have to wait it out. I saw a YouTube video by a therapist who has exercises for Trigger Finger. She also recommended these splints. The clicking motion was waking me up at night when you move around. I bought this set. I only use it at night when the clicking seems to be worse. HACK!!! I put a band aid around my finger to keep the splint on at night, so it does not slip off and i have a mad search for the little splint each morning. The splint keeps the finger straight, while the tendon heals. Buy the set with many sizes, this way you get one that fits. And your finger may be swollen a bit and as it heals the size may drop.

Best finer splint ever
My Dr sent me to a physical therapist to get a finger splint for a mallet finger issue. The splint they made sucked!! I found these splints and they worked great. My finger healed wonderfully. Don't waste your money or time with a physical therapist, just buy these

Very helpful for trigger thumb (if you can keep from losing them)
I have a very painful trigger thumb from repetitive use (needlepointing) and this little plastic splint helps a lot to keep it from clicking so the tendon can heal. The variety pack is the way to go so you can change sizes as the swelling changes. They are made of a firm plastic. My hands are on the smaller side, and the size 7 feels the most comfortable on my thumb. I recommend this set for trigger finger or trigger thumb. It really does help. Check out youtube videos on trigger thumb, that's where I found out about this sort of splint. UPDATE: I do still think these are helpful BUT I keep losing them. I don't want to wear one that's too tight. The comfortable size inevitably falls off with just about any activity and I don't realize it until it's lost and my thumb bends. So then I put a bigger size over the smaller one...and that one always gets brushed off by any activity too. I just can't seem to keep the darn things on. I even bought another set after losing the "good" sizes of the first one, lol. Guess what happened with the second set. I've thought about gluing them together or putting tape around them...but if I'm going to use tape, why not just tape my knuckle?
