Super comfortable, high quality feel
This is the second time I have bought ear cushions from Wicked Cushions, and I haven't been disappointed yet. I had them on my Corsair Virtuoso SE, and now on my Razer Blackshark v2 Pro. They're easy to install once you get the stock ear cushions off, and they have a very high quality feel to them. The fake leather material looks nicer than all cloth on all my headsets, and the breathable cloth material on the side that touches your head is very soft. The cooling effect of the gel inserts works pretty well, and I could definitely tell they were "cooler" than the stock ear cushions. They also make the comfortability skyrocket. I can wear a hat with my headset on using these, and they push each side away from my ears just enough so they don't touch and get sore. They improve the sound quality so much because they make a much better seal when on your head. The Blackshark v2 Pro already has good noise cancellation, but this made it 10x better. Overall, this is a great item. It's totally worth $30, and now I feel like I can actually wear my headset for hours at a time. 10/10, will be buying again.

Legit makes it a whole different headset
Pretty easy to install with a trim tool or carefully with a knife. Just make sure you got the stitching on the bottom won’t seat correctly upside down. even tho it still snaps in it’ll be loose you’ll have to flip it over. but overall review is it’s amazing super comfy changes the look and the feel of the headset. It’s more of a quality feel compared to the cheap thin foam pads that come stock on these. Buy em if you want but it was definitely worth my money.

Great Cooling, Very Comfortable
Exceptional replacement for the stock earpads. The cooling isn't oversold and the fabric is very soft and hasn't begun pilling which was an issue I had with the stock pads. The thickness is about the same but the comfort is better. The noise cancellation is also marginally better but still worth the upgrade.

Needed improvement
These really improve the black shark. The factory ear pads are horrendous. So is the attachment system I own a lot of headsets the only attachment system I’ve seen comparatively as bad is on steel series. By the way, WC freeze just because the factory has six attachment points doesn’t mean you have to make a hook for all six. It would be nice if it was easier to remove once I’ve installed aftermarket ear pads, but you utilized every single attachment point just like the factory ear pads, which makes them an absolute MF to remove. Now the original system is not your fault. Obviously I’m just saying on future plans when you see a headset like this, you don’t have to use every attachment point you could get away with literally two of them. But great ear pads as usual everybody knows that about WC freeze.

The "cooling effect" is subpar
Significantly more comfortable compared to the standard ones the Blackshark ships with, my main gripe with the old ones were the depth at which my ears could go before becoming scrunched. However, I do have one complaint; as many other reviews have claimed, after a while, the cooling gel starts to work like an insulator, instead of venting heat, it traps it in and your ears get noticeably warmer than using the standard cups. Overall though, a good improvement over the standard model's cups.

Great product, double check your headset for fit.
Great product and have lasted a long time on my old headsets which they usually outlive. I was just an idiot and ordered the wrong one for my current headset.

Meh
The gel cushion is nice and cool for the first 5min, after that it just hold your body temp and is warm, takes about 30min-1hr to fully cool back down, other then it being warm/hot when worn longer then 5-10min, it does give ear space and is somewhat comfortable if heat isn't an issue. Cotton or non pu leather would be cooler but will intake more outside noise if that's an issue

A Must Have Upgrade! - Razer Blaskshark V2 Headset (2023)
I love everything about the 2023 Blackshark V2 Headset from Razer. However, the only thing I knew I wouldn't like even before I bought them was how skimpy the ear pads looked. And I was right. While the stock pads are not unbearable, they definitely aren't ideal. After a long gaming session or wearing them all day for work calls your ears are a little sore especially if you wear glasses. There have been basically no options out there since these releases to upgrade, since the 2023 refresh uses a different clip configuration versus the old version. Finally WC released pads for the 2023 version of this headset and I can now say everything about this headset is awesome! These pads are significantly thicker than the stock version (see photo for comparison) and they have a nice cooling effect while you wear them. The one thing that is a little difficult is getting the old pads off. I'm sure you could use a butter knife, but I do have Bojo plastic spudgers and wedges that aided in getting the old pads off. Otherwise the best thing to do is take your time wedging a plastic tool along the outer rim & jamming your fingers along the inside edge, pressing upward to release the clips. Then work your way around. I highly recommend these to anyone who has the newest version of this headset!
