This is so cute for toddlers and young kids and works extremely well in the water it was a great choice for my niece

Maybe its just that my daughter is petite, but this vest would not stay up on her out of water. I know the whole point is for use in the water, which it did a fine job at, never did it come off. I just expected it to be more snug so I found myself constantly pulling the straps up and trying to readjust it in the water. There are two lower straps in the back which were all the way on the tightest setting. I feel like the designers of this product need to add one more on the upper back and this would have been a much better fit. The water wings are removable which is a nice feature as a kid gets older. I think I am going to have to order another vest though since I do not trust this one. Again, it never fell off in the 4 or 5 times we've been swimming, but the shoulder straps would slide down occasionally which did not make me feel good.

Whether you have little kids or not these are good to have for your visitors. The kids looked comfortable and they were able to move their arms.

Our grandson will be 3 in October. He weighs 30 lbs. The water wings slip off the arms & the straps in the back loosen once they get wet. We've had trouble with other puddle jumpers with the wings staying on his arms. Thought this design would be different since the wings are detachable from the body. This is a poor design. The wings should be attached in the back of the vest instead of the front. Just doesn't work!
