Absolutely delicious these buttery tasting classic individually wrapped Madeleine cookies are a product of France and taste homemade. They have the expected sponge cake texture that is light but sufficiently substantial so that theoretically one cookie may be enough. They are good with tea or coffee but also alone.There are 10 cookies in the set and they arrive in a simple but sturdy carton to protect them during transit. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in April 2024 the Best By date is 2 months in the future but dates will vary. Made with quality ingredients. First rate.

These are good but a lot softer than i like my Madeline's.

Overcooked (almost burnt) and stale with no taste!

These are very tastier than I thought. They are moist, spongy with good buttery flavor. They are also not too sweet. They don't look as fresh as what you see at a pasty shop but they taste as fresh as can be for packaged madeleines. They are individually wrapped and taste great for a cup of hot tea. I'd be getting this again.

Pretty good! Not sure how authentic it is but it is pretty delicious. Like pound cake IMO, fluffy but mostly dense, in a good way. sweet but super buttery and vanilla- cake-y, slight salt balances it a bit but emphasises its butteriness. It's soft throughout, no crispiness at edges, but the top area has a sliiiight granular crunch likely due to icing applied on top? Not as good as other madeleines. Tastes like glorified cornbread. Not a delicate texture. Has a slight almond flavor, but not that light lemon essence & almond flavor. Pretty disappointing. I’ll go back to the original ones I got from Amazon.

I'm a big time cake lover and I'm not sure that I've ever had madeleines before. But they taste exactly like I imagined they would!They come individually wrapped, which is fantastic, since you can take your time eating them and they'll stay fresh. Each cake is perfectly shaped and sized. They're not too big or too small, and the calories are super reasonable at a little over 100 per cake.And they taste delicious! They're very reminiscent of butter cakes I've had in the past. They're super soft and thick, and not dry at all! Although they're a bit pricey for the size, they're definitely high quality and worth it as a specialty item. Highly recommend!

These are what I imagine a twinkie with a PhD would taste like! These are very light and taste great. I think these would go well with some type of cream or ice cream. This is a luxury cake in my opinion, so I can't compare the price to a cheap store bought cake. I really enjoy these!
