It’s really spicy but does plump the lips
I bought it cuz a famous Asian celebrity raves about it. It’s really spicy but it does pout your lips. It leaves a burning sensation for about two minutes but not unbearable. I will consider buying another color.

Really plumps your lips
I've tried other lip plumping glosses before and found they were very ineffective and did not feel any different than regular lip glosses. This product is like none other that I have tried. Does it plump your lips? Yes. Can you feel it working? Yes - I imagine the sensation is similar to a bee sting, which I hear some people are really into. The texture is great - made to stay on and definitely feels moisturizing - and the smell is good too. This is definitely not the lip balm you want if you cannot handle spicy foods - it is that kind of tingle. If szechuan peppercorns are your jam, you will not be bothered by the tingles of this balm. If you think barbeque sauce is hot (you know who you are!), then steer clear.

Not overly strong but not much of a plumping effect
The AOU GLOWY TINT BALM Lip Plumper with Natural Gloss Instant Hydration for Chapped Lips 0.12Oz (08 Peppermint Balm) goes on nicely however I'm not much of a plumping effect. There are no ingredients in English, but the consistency feels like peppermint and Vaseline. Although when I put it on initially it does feel strong and for me it was not uncomfortable. The tingling and very slight burning from the peppermint remains as long as you have it on. This is something that if you put it on and you're going to eat you would need to wipe it off. Although peppermint is good for a plumping effect, I didn't notice much of a difference. I think the price is very high for how small of a container you're getting, although a little does go a long way. I would prefer this in more of a lip balm tube so you don't have to get it on your fingers.

Super Shiny and Plumping!
I love this AOU Lip Balm! It is clear, super shiny and plumps! It does tingle but not too severe. I use a silicone lip brush to apply this and wipe my brush clean before dipping back in. Kept my lips shiny, glossy and hydrated for a long time. Minimal plumping which is perfect for me. 5 STARS!

Icy cooling peppermint but glossy hydration
I personally love the hydrated plump look this gives to my lips but the peppermint is not my favorite scent or flavor. The finish looks super pretty and glossy, it pairs well on top of a lip liner or lipstick but it also does a great job at keeping my lips hydrated all night as a lip mask. I really enjoy the formula, so unless you like the cooling sensation and icy scent of peppermint, I would suggest another shade. I'm still going to use this one up but I'm getting one of the tinted shades to replace this with when I finish it up.

Causes Actual Burns
I should have thrown this away when I couldn't find an English list of ingredients. As a reviewer I thought I would take a chance and try it out. That was dumb! This made my lips, tongue, and finger feel like they were on fire. The effects lingered after washing it off. I was left with a chemical burn everywhere it touched my skin. Another reviewer commented that this is the same tingle as capsaicin. No ma'am! I have won pepper eating contests. My family swears my insides are made from metal due to all the spices I add to my food. This is a legitimate burn. I'd be very concerned as to what is causing this reaction. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act of 1938, as amended To protect consumers from unsafe or deceptively labeled or packaged products by prohibiting the movement in interstate commerce of adulterated or misbranded food, drugs, devices, and cosmetics. 21 U.S.C. 321-392 The cosmetics marketed in the United States, whether they are manufactured here or are imported from abroad, must comply with the labeling requirements of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic (FD&C) Act, the Fair Packaging and Labeling (FP&L) Act, and the regulations published by the Food and Drug Administration under the Authority of these two laws. The FD&C Act was enacted by Congress to protect consumers from unsafe or deceptively labeled or packaged products by prohibiting the movement in interstate commerce of adulterated or misbranded food, drug devices and cosmetics.

Lip Plumper with Natural Gloss Instant Hydration for Chapped Lips
Holy Wow. I don't even know what to say - or how to rate this. I mean, yes it plumped my lips, and although it does say 'Tint' in the name, it isn't tinted, but has sparklies in it... but my lips were definitely 'tinted' after use, just from the burn. I need wide-eyed emojis, fire emojis and and maybe an ice pack for this. The first thing I noticed after applying this (with my finger - it's in a little tub with no applicator that I could find) was a strange bitter-heat taste on my tongue. My recommendation would be to apply this to the outside of your lips and avoid getting this in your mouth. Then the tingle came... this is the tingle that they talk about with lip plumpers that I never much noticed before, but with this one, boy I sure did feel it. It really did make my lips plump up though, and that is a feat for me - I have thin, flat lips, and they actually did make them plump up. Next time, I tried putting the plumper just on the bottom lip and then on the "cupid's bow" part of my upper lip and it raised it up for me, which is something of a miracle, giving me more of a fuller lip than I thought I could accomplish. Pretty creative, right? Buyer beware, yes, it's super effective, and also super tingly hot, so... you've been warned :D
