Quality tube
My laser was losing power and making a high pitch noise. I sent a video to high ten who advised me the tube will need replacing. I had researched about cheap tubes being advertised at a certain power but were actually lower wattage running at peak power and therefore you get a short life. Also on YouTube a guy shows that if you put a piece of white paper behind the tube and see a gold line where the beam goes that shows it’s a good quality. The tube arrived and I did look for that and yes there is the gold. This comes with wires already connected so needs a connection to the high voltage cable. I bought a cloudray connector to save the soldering. Easy to fit. Just be aware that the capacitor can hold high voltage so that needs to discharge before handling the red wire. I ran distilled water through the tube first and made sure there wasn’t any air bubbles, changed all the mirrors while I was at it and ordered a new lens. Realigned and what a difference. A bright thick pinky purple beam and so much more power. It now cuts with less power and more speed and the high pitch sound has gone.

It works
I was a bit sceptical, but took the plunge on the nominal 40w tube. My old tube was significantly larger (albeit still 40W) and I was concerned about power output etc. However, it arrived quickly and well packaged. I hooked it up and it seems good. Appears to have similar power output to the old 40W tube (I forgot to drain the coolant last winter and it froze and cracked) which it replaced. I ran some old files I had set up for the old tube and the new one appeared to offer the same cutting speed in the 3mm birch ply and MDF i use.Time will tell how long it will last, but for now I am happy. Will update if it suffers premature failure!

Much better than my original tube.
Bought this expecting it to be a cheap "tide me over" until I could afford to upgrade to an 80w tube/PSU and cooler....but I was surprised how well it actually works for the price.I have a DIY set up that originally had a 35w tube(about 4 years old so not working to full potential anymore) but it cracked in the freezing weather recently as I didn't check it was fully drained of water and unfortunately my machine is installed in my shed as it's very big (cabinet size of 1800mm x 1100mm and working bed of 1200x600).Anyway I installed the 50w 800mm tube yesterday and have been running some tests.Engraving was nice and clean as expected and I can run faster than before.Cutting is so much better.... I tested it at 35% (14ma) and 15mm a second which is 3x faster than I could before. The cut was much cleaner than before with zero charring clean edge cuts, no residue when wiping edges. My machine feels like a brand new machine and I'm looking forward to testing more materials for results.Machine fitted with 50w PSU, active cooling and material tested so far is 3mm MDF.

Disgusting felt cheated
Well I order a 60w, you can see the box with the details, and the photo of the tube I really felt cheated, I only found this out because I could get an air bubble out, looked across and seen marker pen and I rubbed the 6 to reveal a 5Never going to buy from TEN-HIGH again they never contacted me back but thanks to Amazon I got a full refund and now I have a 60/80w cloudRay and it’s fantastic

Perfect K40 replacement tube
I replaced a wornout tube in my old K40. This tube came well packaged and with anode and cathode cables already attached. I cut the cables and removed the old tube (be careful to make sure the HV is fully discharged, I usually wait at least a day but google says 30 minutes minimum).Attached the water tubes carefully not pushing too hard. Joined the low tension cable by twisting and soldering and using shrink wrap. I joined the HV cable by following the guides found on Google, I twisted the ends together using a western union splice, then soldered it. Covered the joint in Permatex 80022 Blue RTV silicon, then slipped a silicon hose over the joint and filled the tube with the RTV silicon then allowed the silicon to set. I then spent quite a time re aligning the mirrors (I replaced the standard laser tube holders with adjustable ones which makes this process a little easier as you can move the tube up and down) I also got a cloudray laser head with adjustable mirror and printed an adjustable laser head bracket to allow the laser head to be moved up and down. With these modifications I was able to get the laser to hit all mirrors dead center, and get it to exit the nozzle dead center. I then tested a cut on 3mm MDF and found I could cut through it at 10mA @500mm/min feedrate, this is better than my original tube. I also plan to upgrade the mirrors with the Si mirrors (do not get the K9 ones).Bottom line is this tube replaces the K40 tube quite easily and I am back up to full cutting power (and beyond).

Better Than Original
I did at first receive a dud tube that was barely functional, however this was quickly swapped and the replacement issued performed much better than the original tube. Please do beware though these tubes appear to be stored a long time with both tubes I have received with test dates from over 12 months ago. Which will affect their power due to CO2 leaking from the glass.

Nice beam pattern, no splitting. Purple Plasma..
Came very well packed, i was a bit dubious about the delivery being intact, but it was all in order.Sparkling and clean to look at, no dodgy reclaimed tube.Installed in minutes, obviously took a while to align again as I had disturbed the original position.Fired it up and away it went cutting and engraving away to itself.8mm Acrylic can be done in 1 pass at 10mA for a relatively rough cut.For the price of the tube I am happy with what I got and would buy another if required.I haven't been offered any payment for this review, or have any affiliation with the company, you can message me if you have any questions and I will try to help if I have the time. The delivery driver was courteous and professional, due to the Covid-19 problem, he asked if it was okay on the floor, onto which he placed it down with care, nice to see, good work sir.
