Excellent, as usual for Chaco
The size was just right and they are very comfortable. They are a nice addition to my other Chacos.

Sanity Check!
I’ve heard people just brag about how comfortable Chaco’s are. Personally I have always thought they look ridiculous, bulky and clumsy. I wish I didn’t because I like the functionality of them. So when I saw these “hiking” flips I though awesome, something that doesn’t make me look like an awkward man child that lives in his mother’s basement! Well, Chaco has something to learn about comfort! These are about as hike ready as I am to run the Tour de France! The soles are hard, the leather stiff and scratchy. I don’t think there is anything redeeming at all to even think of letting the stupid little toe loop slide! Don’t worry... my temporary insanity has resolved itself... product returned!

Fit perfect, nicely stylish.
I love the design, you can wear it in two different way, just little heavy for my preference.

excellent sandals, but don’t go hiking in them
I have spent a large portion of the last ten years wearing Chaco flip sandals (or flip-flops, thong sandals, or whatever you like to call them). These were a little different, but the price in my size was very right, so I decided to check them out.I am very pleased with them. The little toe loop was a new thing for me, but it doesn’t bother me and probably helps keep them aligned. Walking in them otherwise feels like any other pair of Chaco flips, which is excellent.I’ve seen a few reviews claiming that the fit of the flips has become more loose in the last couple of years. I think that I noticed the same thing with my last pair before this one, but the fit and feel is just as good for me.I would not want to go hiking in these though, and I have seen some flip varieties marketed for “hiking.” Don’t go hiking in these - excellent sandals though, for sure.

The footbed felt awkward
I own several pairs of Chacos, but this pair was a bit off for me. When I had my toe in the loop, the arch support was not in the right place for me. And if I got the arch support in the right place the toe loop was uncomfortable. I was disappointed.

Ordered size 11. My other Chacos are size 11 and they are great. Purchased these in size 11 and my foot slides all over. I would recommend going a size smaller. Cannot wear flip flops because my large toe rises up. Thought the toe guard would work. It does, but the sandal top is too loose.
