Great value from TCL
So far so good. It's very light, has a great picture, sound quality acceptable pretty much like any new TV. Having Fire TV built in is a great feature, as we would normally need to buy a Firestick for every new TV but there is no need now. The Fire OS is in my opinion far better than all the rest (including Android). It's simple, quick, and tailored exactly for TV watching. I don't need Android capabilities on my TV like I do on my phone, I just want something simple and uncluttered which the Fire OS does very well.So in summary, any TCL TV in my opinion is cracking value for money if you just want a good 4k LED picture which let's face it, is good enough for most people unless you are used to OLED (which I am not and nor will I pay £1000 extra for when today's LED screens are excellent).

Sure there’s better TVs out there but excellent value
Excellent TV for the price. Picture quality is overall very goodEasy to setup and perfect size for mounting on wall - overall very thin and looks great as centrepiece on a feature wall.Noticed several reviews about poor sound quality but haven’t really noticed or had any issues with the sound since purchasing. If left on standby for prolonged periods of time TV seems to go significantly slower when on Home Screen/scrolling through apps but this is easily solved by restarting.Full selection of apps available via built in App Store (Google) which is accessed by logging in. Connects well with apps used on other devices like Spotify and YouTube and can easily switch between the two.Noticed some apps seem to run slower than others with a lag when scrolling through which can be frustrating at times but can’t complain for the price

Worst TV ever – writing this after 6 months of frustration
I’ve been using this TCL TV for 6 months now, and I honestly wish I never bought it. It’s unbearably slow, and the picture quality is terrible — dull colors and poor clarity. Switching between apps like Disney+ and Prime Video is a joke. If I open one app, then close it and open another, the video keeps stuttering and freezing. It’s not my internet — everything else in the house works fine. This TV just can’t handle basic tasks. It’s been nothing but disappointment since day one. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this TV. Total waste of money.

Love it
Love this tv, really great size without going massive. Great functions, easy to use and lovely quality, sound is great also. Remote comes with multiple short cuts to different apps, love it.

The best value for money 55” 4K smart tv on the market
I bought this to replace an ageing Toshiba 49” “smart” (wasn’t very smart) TV that weighed a ton, only had 1080p resolution and didn’t even have a working Freeview. The pros:- Extremely lightweight- Crisp, bright picture with no ghosting or artifacts- Unusually fast processor, no waiting around after selecting options- The price is phenomenally low- Has all the apps, connections you could want and has Freeview Play which means I could finally pick up HD digital channels after years of Standard Definition- The sound is fantastic without a soundbar, it really feels like you do have a sound set-up with the in-built speakers (but again that could be because I’m used to the tinny old ones on the Toshiba)Cons- Feet are a little flimsy. I am very careful when moving the tv (to access ports etc) that I lift it rather than drag or twist as I fear the legs may snap- Sometimes it doesn’t respond to being turned on via the remote immediately. This bothers my husband more than me- The menu takes some time to get your head around. I was used to an old TalkTalk box but it’s just a learning curveHonestly for this price I don’t think you can get any better on the market. It’s a great option for upgrading to 4K without spending hundreds and hundreds. Also, the TCL app enables you to screen capture, which is constantly a source of amusement for me (Pause Face is a thing).

Amazing TV for the Price, you cant go wrong
So I had to replace my old Sony Android TV as the screen started pixel burning for some reason and saw this one and liked all its features/specs so I ordered it.Its a great TV on a par with my other old Sony Android TV, the picture is great on 4K Video and 4K gaming and the Android TV UI is smooth and fast and I am able to install all my IPTV apps from the Google Play store. The sound on the TV is better than my old Sony TV and has great sound quality the Dolby Atmos is good and the bass levels are great and not to tinny. I have a sound bar I could plug into it via optical but the sound is that good that I don't have to use it.Also its very light compared to other TV's I have so wall mounting it was a piece of cake. The motion clarity is good too and the 4K picture is amazing with lots of setting to change if you want to get it perfect for your viewing needs. The remote is good and comes with Google assistant button so you use your voice which works really well. For the price for a 55 inch Android 4k TV you cant go wrong and definitely will be looking at TCL TV's again in the future. I am well impressed.
