Yes, you can download the pics and video to your phone using Wi-Fi and the Rove app, then you can watch them on your phone. JPEG & MP4 are the file formats so they should also be viewable on your computer, TV or tablet. Transfer by Wi-Fi is a little slow, but you can always remover the SD card and view or copy from the card.

Can a rear facing camera be added to this dash cam

Don’t know what you mean. You can’t physically fix another cam to the Rove, why would you want to do that. If you need a rear facing cam why not buy another cam and mount it on your rear windscreen and connect it to your power outlet in your trunk/boot. There are front and rear combined dash cams for sale out there if you want to go that way. I have a separate cam mounted on my rear windscreen

Does this camera record in 1 minute loops?

It can do. The default is 3 minutes, but you can set it to 1, 3, 5 or 10 minutes. I've been using 10 minute loops. I've got one in the front of the car, and one in the back, and am very happy with them. Picture quality is first rate. Worth pointing them a bit below horizontal - you don't need all that sky, and the exposure of the things you're interested in is better with less sky!
