Review: Bad for smaller hands; came with lots of yellow - These have a chunky design, so if you have small hands (e.g. as a petite woman) they may be uncomfortable for you. I haven't found metal chalk holders that I'm confident will fit Hagoromo chalk, but I'll continue my hunt for something more streamlined, as I don't love the feel of writing with these. The other disappointing thing about these was that several of them came loaded with yellow chalk. Part of why I purchased this set instead of a couple of individual holders was to get/have a few pieces of chalk in different colors to use while teaching. Most of my blackboard use is white chalk, but I do like having an alternative color as well. I have ordered them before and been very happy with them. In this order the chalkholders were dumped in a mailing bag. There was no packaging. All of the chalk was broken.
