Woodland Plants: No. 50 (Field Studies Council)
M**H
Ideal for 'nature spotting competitions'.
Give folk one each or one copy per group. Let the hunters free to see how many they can find! The illustrations are clear and the info sufficient to pique interest. A smashing piece of kit. Recommended

Another FSC essential.
Not terribly comprehensive, but still useful for some of the main UK wildflower species, and much easier to carry than an ID book. Great for helping kids learn on those outdoor education excursions.

Another great FSC Guide
I like all of the guides made by the Field Studies Council as they are accessible enough for children to use and help them name plants more independently. I use them with both my Cubs and at Forest School sessions. I particularly like the name trails. Note: this isn't a name trail but writing more generally about all this high quality series.

Woodland Plants
This is excellent and very informative. As a person who has just started taking an interest in plants i will be putting this guide to woodland plants to good use when I go off on woodland walks. It has already began to serve its purpose just by reading the guide. Excellent!!
