HYDE 33210 Wallpaper Removal Scoring Tool

So glad I ordered this. Was taking wall paper down that was up for over 30 years. It was maded very well and worked perfectly. Made it easier to remove the paper. Was hard to use at all. You can feel confident in buying this

The scoring tool worked but did not really help in wall paper removal. Found that it is easier to remove vinyl outer layer then slightly wet backing with a wet rag. After allowing the slightly wet backing to dry for about 10 minutes it can be peeled from the wall.

I scored wall paper with this .. easy to use.. and I also used vinegar water.. paper came off in nice large pieces!! Well exercise your shoulder and arms if used properly.. but it was the best !

Really only needed it for one job but it broke fairly easily and quickly. One of the blade spindles snapped off halfway through the job. In a pinch this product is alright and it will work but honestly just pass on this one and get something else, especially if you intend to use it again down the line.

Have to be careful not to rub to had other then that it did a good job.

This scoring tool was working well and I was not applying excessive pressure, as if you do you score the finish wall beneath the paper, and after a couple of hours of use it broke. You will see in the photo that the "axle" of the wheel is plastic about 3/16" in diameter. It needs to be sturdier. The Hyde name usually means a good product, but not this one. I suggest you purchase a different paper scorer.

After scoring the wallpaper with this handy tool, I was able to wet the wallpaper and take it down with ease!

Worked very well. Easy to hold and use
