GREAT SUPPORT, BUT DOUBLE-CHECK SIZE.
I love this brace. In addition to having bone-on-bone Osteoarthritis, I also tore the Meniscus on my left knee.I have a different, more complex brace to wear when I go outside (I use a wheelchair mostly), but when I am home, I prefer a less cumbersome brace. Most braces do not support my knee well enough to control the pain.I finally bought this knee brace, and I now I have a winner.Throughout the day, I may sit in a regular chair or I may have to recline on my bed, because of disability. This brace allows me to keep it on even when I am reclining on the bed. It is comfortable no matter where I sit or if I am doing "furniture walking" in the apartment.Other braces did not have enough support, but this one has a lot of support. With other braces, the velcro began to NOT stick much too quickly. This brace seems to have medical-grade velcro, which is much stronger and usually lasts much longer than retail-grade aka sports-grade velcro. The only thing with the stronger velcro is that it takes a while to learn how to use it without irritating the skin on your fingers. It helps to not pull at it with the tips of the fingers. I've learned to sort of use the sides of my fingers, and that lessens the strain on my fingers.I like that there is a double strap on the top and on the bottom, allowing me to tighten (or loosen) the brace as much as I need.My only caution is choosing the size. I measured my thigh as they said to do, and my measurement was right at the border of 2 different sizes; the max on one size and the least on the next size. Since I read one reviewer say the brace was too big for her, I decided to buy the smaller of the 2 choices. Well, it turned out to be way too small for me, not even getting over my knee!I finally reached out to the seller, even though I thought I had waited too long (busy with treatments for breast cancer & other health issues), It was the last date they allowed for returns, and it was late at night. I decided to try anyway. I sent them an email, explaining the situation. The next morning, A Saturday, they responded & said they would be sending out the larger size immediately, which they did. I had it Monday morning! The larger brace fit me fine. I wanted to wait a while before doing a review. I wanted to have time to use the brace for a while, to see how good a job it does and to see if the fabric & side hinges felt sturdy. After wearing it every day for a few weeks, I have to say I am very satisfied with it. It does not irritate my skin at any point, & the hinges feel strong and are supportive. The knee cushion is very protective, too.

Knee Braces
I've tried other knee braces and none worked. I must say these are the best. I'm 67 years old and have known since 16 years old that my knees, most likely, would need to be replaced. From my late teens throughout my adulthood, my knees have slipped out and back about three dozen times. I lived through these periods with ease, somewhat. Now at the point of knee replacement, I'm trying to prolong it and these braces are an answer for me. I've been able to get out of a sitting position without straining and needing support. I've very minimal pain. I wear them on both knees as both are bone on bone, and I will say that they do rub together which makes it somewhat uncomfortable. But since my left knee is worse than my right, I've been thinking about removing the hinge on the inside of the right knee brace to prevent the rubbing. I'm not sure I can do that.Other than that issue I will say if you need a knee brace/support. These are the ones. Took me only a couple days to get used to them and now I don't even know that they're there.A PLUS,NO SLIPPING.EASY PULL UP with two little pocket like areas to assist with pulling up with your fingers. These are a 10x's100 quality

Very worthwhile purchase. I love this brace.
I love this knee brace. It helps support my knee very well and eliminates a lot of my pain, though not all, but I can’t expect it to ease it all. I even fell while wearing it and it helped prevent a lot of potential damage and pain to my knee that would’ve occurred had I not been wearing it. It took most of the impact as I fell on the top of the knee part where the circular padding is. I wore this while hiking and I honestly believe my knee would’ve been much more worn afterwards had I not worn this brace.I love that it has so much size adjustability and that it isn’t so bulky and ugly. It also bends with my knee very well and seems well built. It holds up pretty nicely and overall is definitely worth the purchase. It is seamless in the way that it has to be put on like a pair of jeans instead of being placed over top and strapped on like some other smaller ones. This is nice as it helps with the support, however, it does cause struggle with wearing over my jeans as they ride up with the brace as I pull it up into place. I’m sure if I got a larger size this may help at least a little bit.The only thing I don’t love about it is that it keeps slightly bunching at the knee pit and causing discomfort there and it tends to slip down a smidge requiring adjusting, though not as bad as some others. This might be remedied if I got a larger size, but I’m not sure.

Works Wonders IF You Belt Up Correctly
The brace is well constructed. It instantly helped me stand again, without my knee collapsing to the front back, or sides. It did take a couple of days to feel "right" while wearing it all day long, but since then? No problems. It is also true that while the above the knee strap fits closely, the below the knee strap leaves the material a little loose, but all of this is corrected by using the 4 extra velcro straps - two "X" straps beneath the belted straps. Make sure you adjust them first, and then you can leave them be. Just loosening the belted straps, above and below the knee.If you measure correctly, and Watch The Video of how to put it on it should work great for you.

Reconsider if you're skinny
I'm 6'1", 150lbs and the small is too big. It has stretchy straps underneath the main straps to help take out the slack but since it's all on the front of the brace it puts all the slack in the brace on the front so there's no support for my knee cap.I'm going to try it for a few days but I think I'll have to end up sending it back. It's too bad because it seems like a really nice race
